Lovely old little pub, Ordered a ploughman's Not the best one I've ever had, very basic, Definitely needs more bread to go with the amount of butter and less brown salad and more pickles and cheese. Service: 4 Location: 5

We went in for a lunch, we order Steak and kidney pie, When it came it was absolutely delicious. Could not fault it we both said we liked it and we would be back and we will. Very old-fashioned pub and it's good to see. The pub had a good atmosphere and it was very interesting inside. We had a beer each and it was excellent could not fault it. Well done. Now this is a real country pub, Keith the landlord is a diamond, his steak and kidney pie dinner is proper home cooking, just like your nana would have made -dreamy! The pub is eclectically adorned -a feast for the eyes! Pub is dog friendly, had beautiful kept gardens, and a car park. You can see why locals love it here, a must stop at on your way through. Lovely quirky cosy old pub in a pretty village setting. Really lovely people, family run, definitely will visit again. Dog and child friendly. Delicious and plentiful food and good selection of drinks. I had the texas chilli which had a nice kick to it, and my husband had chips, which are big, chunky and delicious! They have occasional live music, which is why we were there, it is small but plenty of seating and most people can see the band. Not too loud either, so ears are OK. Because it is old, floor levels are a bit up and down, and quite a few steps about, so don't get too drunk, but if you do, you can blame the floor The place is kept very clean even with all the items on display and it...
