Crowded, no attention. No service, waste of time. Never go there again. Hope they increase the number of employees.

Delicious food, great service, good prices, nice atmosphere. My kids have chosen this place for breakfast on every morning while staying at nearby hotel.

The food is absolutely delicious. The person who helped us was very friendly and kind. I had the ham and cheese croissant which was fantastic. The latte was excellent. This place is definitely worth visiting.

Fuimos por la mañana (9:30 a.m.) un sábado. El servicio nos atendió una chica muy amable y paciente que nos explicó la diferencia entre los panes. La comida estuvo deliciosa; pedimos los huevos revueltos y el crepé con dulce de leche.

La comida estuvo buena. Nos sentamos afuera y nos cobraron por ello, sin previo aviso. Pedí un latte doble y me cobraron por cuatro tazas de café. No pudimos discutirlo porque había un problema de idioma. Una buena manera de perder mi negocio. Hay muchos lugares excelentes para desayunar y tomar café, ¡no estoy de acuerdo con el cobro excesivo!

Wow! I really got lucky finding this place. I was going to take a day tour and got to the location an hour early. So my plan was to grab breakfast. The gentleman at the counter was so nice and explained what each sandwich contained. The ham was such great quality and the bread was so fresh and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The chocolate croissant was so buttery and flaky and the chocolate was delicious. What a great find!

French pastries are done in perfection. The pastries with filo dough are crunchy and very tasty. We tried the 4 cheese Quiche, was so good that melts in your mouth. The cafe con leche is well done. If you like sweet orange juice this is the place...exquisito!!! The owner was very patient explaining the different pastries and food options and the server was very attentive. The ambience is very inviting, with a clear wood decore, clean and nice.

Hansel es un lugar excepcional para el desayuno que encontramos al principio de nuestra estancia en Barcelona. El personal es muy acogedor y amable, y preparan un jugo de naranja fresco realmente maravilloso todos los días; ¡soy un gran fan del jugo de naranja fresco! Visitamos este lugar para desayunar varias veces y nunca salimos decepcionados. En nuestra primera visita, pedí el bol de acai con cereales y fruta fresca, ¡y fue simplemente fenomenal! Hänsel is this cute little cafe on the streets of Barcelona, serving up some great essential sandwiches, pastries, pasta, juices, and coffee. My friends and I stopped by Hänsel on the last morning of our stay in Barcelona and it was a great experience all around. I got the Bikini sandwich (a ham and melted cheese sandwich) and asked if I was able to add some spinach. While they usually don't include spinach in the sandwich, they said they can add it for me with no extra charge! Also ordered an Americano, which came in a cute espresso mug and was great.
