Happy Valley Take Away

I have been dining at this restaurant for over 40 years. Any mistakes or issues have been very rare occurrences. The food has always been consistently good, and the staff are always friendly.

We’ve used Happy Valley for many years but not since the virus. This weekend we decided to return. As I would expect Happy Valley had taken every safety precaution it could. The service and food quality was its usual high standard.

Just as per the title.Ordred pancake roll and barbecue spare ribs. Barbecue sauce non existent, just swimming in yellow/green grease, pancake roll was large but not one ounce of flavour! Greasy , tasteless food. Don’t waste your money, everything binned! Ver carta

really not good food defined not 4/5 as shown in reviews chicken sweet and sour gave me a stomach ache the rest of the food was left by my family disappointing 0/5, have to put 1/5 as it wont accept 0/5 my normal chinese was closed due to second lockdown :

We’ve been going to this Chinese takeaway for many years now and the food and friendly service have remained very good. The portion sizes are sufficient and hot and there is a good selection of food to choose from. I do think however the menu could be updated. Whilst the takeaway looks clean it is now tired and could do with being modernised. It looks dated. I hope to continue using the Happy Valley for many years to come.

I have been trying Chinese Takeaways local to where I live, the food from this takeaway is by far the best so far. I have had two meals from here and both have been full of flavour and generous portions given. The only minor complaint I would make is that on the second time I ordered food the person that answered my phone call had trouble understanding me, it's possible it may have been the phone line. My wife and I have ordered takeout from Happy Valley Chinese restaurant twice now, and both times the food has been delicious. We've tried five other Chinese takeout places that are closer to us, but none of them compare to Happy Valley. My wife loves the Sweet and Sour Chicken Hong Kong style with egg fried rice, while I prefer the Kung Pao Chicken with Mushroom Chow Mein. I highly recommend giving them a try to see if you enjoy their food as much as we do.

After watching a movie last night where the characters were enjoying Chinese food, I was craving chow mein. I had to wait until today to satisfy my craving. Luckily, one of the few Chinese takeout restaurants was open, so I placed an order and picked it up. The man working there was very friendly and gave me a large portion of chow mein that was just as delicious as I had hoped. I would highly recommend this takeout restaurant if you're in the mood for Chinese food.

Staff are friendly and efficient. The menu is varied and the takeaway service is prompt and always hot. Telephone calls are easy to understand and are taken speedily and professionally. Every time we have had a meal from here it has been a pleasure. The food is cooked to perfection. I would recommend this establishment to friends and family. They are closed on a Tuesday. Takeaway is available within 3 miles with £1 charge cash only. Minimum order of takeaways is £10. They cater for vegetarians too. Parking outside is a little hit and miss. Ver carta
