Harvester Ancient Briton

the food and the service were great. not much ambiente, since the restaurant was not busy. we will return early.

We had a lovely meal at the Ancient briton this evening and the food was very well cooked and served by a very friendly waitress and value for money

We hadn't been to the Ancient Briton before. There were 4 of us. The food was excellent the service by Isabell was very good. We will go there again. Ver carta

Staff were great very helpful friendly and polite, it was a good experience as it's the first meal out since some of the covid restrictions were eased.

Although our booking was for 6.30pm, they were able to accommodate us earlier. When we were seated, our host immediately asked if we wanted to be moved due to the noise. Great service!!!

Unfortunately, our experience tonight was not great. I feel they were just short personal, so we had to wait for drinks. the starters came before we were allowed to go to salatbar and our main thing before our table came from salad bowls and appetizers. the waitress was beautiful, but definitiw was overworked. also charges of materials not available Ver carta

I was here a few times in the last months, but was very disappointed with my meal tonight and my daughter my ribs were tasteless and my chips were cold my daughter had steak and her onion bastia was burned the waiting time for the salatable took longer then my main meal, which came out because of the lack of salat article I would like someone to answer to me

The Fork is a great place to eat. I love the American diner feel, the booths and long benches to bring the family in. It’s great value , my friend and I split the the bill, £30! We didn’t need a dessert, we were full just in the salad and main course. The staff are great too, explain how everything works, they are very friendly and seem to be happy in their work. It was great to witness that! We are all so happy to be back working and living our lives!

One of glass we got serve had lipstick marks all over it, one of drinks given was wrong then we got our meal, my friends plate of food had hair on her salad. So we returned hers and got them to make her a new plate of food. I waited for my friends to arrive so we eat together, by then my food was cold. The girl that served was really nice though and very apologetic but the Duty Manager was extremely rude, we asked if there was something he could offer or do with the bill as it wasnt a great experience, oh well, he didn't even apologise instead he said if you had your car oil changed, you would pay for the job thats been done.
