Harvester - Carta

On Sunday, we were delighted to have Ashleigh as our waitress. She was lovely. I ordered the pulled pork burger and asked Ashleigh to tell the chef that it was the best burger I've ever had. It was amazing! Thank you for the great food and service xx.

Atmosphere as expected for a pub lunch. Service staff were lovely and enthusiastic but no fault of the server you could tell they were short on staff. Food I was highly disappointed in the dirty fries a bowl of chips topped with the free salad bar bits, it looked pretty depressing.

Came for the 3rd time with my partner our 1 year old. Lovely place to go! The food is incredible our sever, Chelsea, was great! Only thing I wish they did was a kids menu so we wouldn't need to order off the Extra Sides menu for our little one. Although they do provide high chairs for the little ones. Will definitely come again for the food though! Ver carta

I don't understand why people complain about this place. I have eaten here three times while my husband was on business in Cardiff. The salads were excellent and I have nothing but praise for the service, friendliness, and attentiveness of the staff. They even brought out water for our dog and packed up the leftovers for him. Thank you to all the employees for a wonderful experience!

The restaurant was very clean, to be fair, but the food is a bit expensive and took a while to arrive. However, the staff were amazing and very friendly, always willing to help with anything we needed. I witnessed a staff member named Kate go above and beyond to assist a guest with a disability by setting up a clean table that met their needs. She deserves full credit for her efforts!

Very disappointing for a Harvester. I'm not sure why your standards have dropped. Stale bread, very little choice left at the salad bar. Asked if i wanted any more Guinness as they wanted to clean the lines. Unable to get coffee after our meal as the machine was turned off. The place doesn't feel that clean. Thread bare carpet by the salad bar, or just trodden in dirt. Your staff do not seem very happy, which is quite off putting on arrival, and throughout the service. It's definitely not what I would expect from such a big chain, and we definitely won't be going back. Ver carta

13 of us met up and enjoyed a lovely family friends meal here yesterday. It’s a lovely harvesters- one of the older ones which we preferred, because its partially carpeted and has no large windows, sounds chatter doesn’t carry so it’s a lot quieter. The food was delicious and piping hot on arrival- well presented and the salad bar well stocked. Desserts all delicious as well especially the rocky horror !! Our server Sam was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble, we had 2 people in our group with allergies and she was so attentive with them making sure they were catered for. So credit to Sam!! Overall a lovely evening, delicious food and great service

Harvester is not my first choice when it comes to dining out. After a long drive to Cardiff and a bus ride back to my hotel, I found myself unable to make it back to the city, so I decided to try out Harvester. Unfortunately, the service was slow and the restaurant was not very clean. It was a challenge to get the bill, and our drinks took longer to arrive than our food. While there were some vegan options available, I opted for the Nacho Burger instead, as I prefer not to eat fake meat. However, the burger was cold inside and the sauce was unappetizing. My husband ordered a pot of tea but only received a cup. When we questioned this, we were informed that a pot was only available with the unlimited tea option. Interestingly, I noticed that I had been charged for unlimited tea, so I'm not sure why we didn’t receive it. After placing our food order, we waited around 40 minutes for our breakfast, only for it to arrive incorrect. We had both ordered fried eggs, but instead received poached eggs. When I brought this up with the waitress, she talked over me, and while she offered to bring us a replacement, I was reluctant to accept since we were already very hungry and didn’t want to wait even longer.
