The staff were excellent at keeping us updated on any changes or substitutions on the menu. They were very attentive and made sure we were fully informed throughout our meal.

The hostess told us we could start a tab at the bar when we arrived early, but John, the manager, said we couldn't. He wasn't very friendly, and it seemed like they were short on staff.

first visit and was disappointed staff were helpful, but stalks, we ordered fish and chips very small all the battery and very little fish had this meal in skin harvested on many ocasions and was good, manager offered free dessert when they found damen toilets disgusting and would not use . the fish and the chips were very porous for children and adults, both being cooked over. dirty fries poor as the only difference to standard fries is x2 slotter by cheddar. softdrinks refilling machine concentrates required to be replaced as many of the options were bad in taste. overall a bad impression.

I told lachs that they didn't have one, so I made a snap decision to have fish cake because they were supposed to be laughs, but they had to look hard to find the little salmon in them. So I had a jacket kartoffel mostly kartoffel in the fish cakes that were cooked to my understanding with a small pot heap, not what I would call a very appetizing lunch.

This was my first visit to the restaurant and I was disappointed. The staff were helpful but seemed overwhelmed. We ordered fish and chips, but the portion was very small with mostly batter and very little fish. I have had this meal at the Hemel Harvester on many occasions and it was fine. The manager offered us a free dessert to make up for the disappointment. However, when I visited the ladies' toilets before leaving, I found them to be disgusting and decided not to use them.
