"This place was amazing. As soon as you walked in, the atmosphere was warming and welcoming. The service was second to none. We sat down and ordered the food. I went for the ribs, not my normal 1st choice (a burger is always haha! But goodness me, they were delicious, the meat fell off the bones and then sides were delish, I really liked the feta cheese with lime n chilli. The others I was there with had fish n chips and the burger. Whilst we were waiting for the mains, we were presented with 3x ham hock n cheese crockets, WOW..... thank you!! Needless to say, not a scrap of food was left (except my bones Thank you, I will be revisiting. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Fish and Chips, Burger and Fries"

"Love this place. When I need a decaf (can't have too many full cafs as a breastfeeding mum! I head straight here. The coffee is so smooth and full bodied. The hot chocolate is delicious, too none of that powdery Costa ****! The banana bread served warm with butter is a must try. Note: F&G won't suit everyone. If you like a greasy fry up, spit and gossip type of caf, I wouldn't recommend. This place has young, hip staff and serves nutritious salads and healthy looking sandwich type things that are a little on the pricier side. But everything is delicious and everyone is super friendly and helpful! Plus, they do a loyalty card, that you can't go wrong with!"

"We visited The Bell to celebrate our birthday. We received a warm welcome, were shown to our table promptly. We ordered drinks and they arrived quickly. Our food order was taken as soon as we were ready. Two of us chose a Thai Red Curry from the specials board and our other guest chose the Steak and Ale Pie. We had salt and pepper chicken wings to nibble while we waited for our mains. The food did not take too long to come. It was nicely presented, there was plenty of it and it was delicious. We were too full for pudding so we asked for the bill which we received promptly. The service throughout was truly excellent, the food was good and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We look forward to another visit in the future."

"Having stumbled across this pub by convenience, it’s fair to say I was not expecting much. For main I went for the pork loin. You would normally assume the meat to be the highlight of the dish, you would be wrong! It was all great. The roasties were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Even the carrot was extremely enjoyable, sprinkled with parsley and doused in the delicious gravy. I was not planning on having a desert, I’m not even a desert person! But after the main course performance, I thought it would be rude not to. After much deliberation, I opted for the hazelnut mouse which was encased in milk chocolate with raspberries on top and served with a salted caramel ice cream. I mean…. wow! If you’re reading this and you haven’t been to this pub, you have something to look forward to! Enjoy!"

"We visited this restaurant again to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff took excellent care of us and we enjoyed a lovely lunch with stunning views outdoors. The food was absolutely delicious. We started with the mushroom pastry and salmon pate, followed by duck and the most amazing fish and chips. The dessert, a sticky toffee pudding, was the best we've ever had. The restaurant also boasts an impressive wine selection. While it may not be the most affordable option, the high-quality food and outstanding service make it well worth the price."
