"This is a good place to dine on a day out en route to Portsmouth. Excellent booking service, easy parking, a friendly welcome on arrival, prompt and attentive service, relaxed atmosphere and good food . One unfortunate hiccup with the dessert. There was an unwanted piece of wrapping paper in the Ice Cream Sundae. The waitress reported it to the kitchen and we were not charged for the desserts. Nevertheless, it is very likely that we will go there again."

Steak was well done, not medium 2 of sweet corn had not even put on the grill they were stone cold, service could be found better to hunt the waiters down for drinks, could be checked more regularly. Before this meal, all our meals were error-free here.

The steak was overcooked; it was well done instead of medium. Two of the sweet corn pieces hadn’t even been on the grill and were served cold. The service could have been improved as we found ourselves trying to track down the waitress for drinks and she could have checked on us more often. Prior to this meal, all our experiences here had been flawless.
