"I love the breakfast at this cafe. Although the portion size isn't huge the food itself is delicious. Whenever we visit Cleethorpes we always call in. However on the past three occasions the staff have been decidedly rude. Whilst deciding what to have from the...breakfast menu at the counter we were asked are you having anything or not In a very rude manner. The second occasion our food was literally thrown onto the table without the waitress asking who's was who's and with no toast forthcoming. The last time we visited was Armed Forces Weekend. Once again, no toast and a rude comment from the kitchen staff when we didn't hear the order number called. Also, I would expect a cafe to provide toilet facilities which they don't. Unfortunately , due to all these factors we will not be going there any more."

We'd just arrived for a day in Cleethorpes to wander along the seafront etc. Parked up near the pier only the second car in the row and then in for a cuppa before what will be a cold walk today.

This place is a fairly typical beach side cafe, basic but decent enough food. It has a small seating area out at the front which is relatively clean and nice to sit out watching the world go by.

they start drizzling so decided to dip here for cake and coffee. beautiful coffee and nice cake, only something was not a sweeter on the table, but normally carry my own. I will not go over board and like some reviewers on here, though about it and. certainly not see my lawyer about it

A walk along the beautiful Cleethorpes seafront on a sunny winter day was made even better by a delicious full English breakfast and hot drink at Hawaiian Eye Café. We were greeted warmly and received great service from the friendly staff. The breakfast was tasty and well-presented, just like in the menu picture. We highly recommend Hawaiian Eye Café and will definitely be returning. Well done ladies!

This café is located on the promenade and offers great views of the beach and the river. Our group of nine visited for breakfast one morning and we were all extremely satisfied. The breakfast was a bit pricey, but the portions were generous, the quality was good, and the coffee was hot. The service was friendly and very efficient. The tables were a good size, so we didn't feel cramped while eating. The staff was fantastic, especially Jane and the person who accommodated our last-minute request. Thank you!

This place is a local icon. I first visited here as a brand new biker in when the local authorities wouldn't let motorcycles onto the seafront to park. Time definitely stands still here. All day full English is excellent but has no black pudding,...toast or fried bread is marvellous. The cost per head will be a very pleasant surprise. Yeah OK, very transport cafe style but then this place has never ever been pretentious. If that is your type of eats then go elsewhere, you won't get pretence here. Staff are brill and pleasant usually with a really nice smile. Always at its best out of season. Love it ! Ver carta

The Hawaiian Eye is situated on the seafront in Cleethorpes, directly across from the pier. During my visit, I tried a cheese pineapple panini which came with a side salad and crisps. The staff were incredibly friendly, especially the lady at the register who helped me choose a suitable option. She, being a vegan, recommended a vegetarian burger and vegetarian sausages, but I opted for the panini since I had already had a BBQ the day before. I would highly recommend this spot to vegetarians, as finding vegetarian options in Cleethorpes can be challenging and The Hawaiian Eye offers a few delicious choices.

Myself and my parents had coffees and some donuts on Sunday at this cafe. When we were ready to leave I went inside to ask to use their loo. I was told that they do not have a customer toilet and I will have to...go to the nearest public loos minutes walk away. So Hawaiian Eye Cafe. Read up on customer laws and rights: SECTION OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS ACT States that If a cafe or restaurant has more than seats (you have far more than seats) you HAVE TO PROVIDE TOILET FACILITIES. So, next time I come to visit Cleethorpes I hope that you have installed toilets for your customers or we shall have to have a word with my solicitor.

"Attended a family wedding here recently. The restaurant, the location and the facilities were top notch, I think you would have to work hard to improve on what they have achieved here. However, the bar staff in the first floor function suite leave much to be desired ! Their attitude and reaction to the wedding guests during the wedding reception and evening event should definatly be improved ! It began with the sullen faces of the waiting staff during the reception , most should learn how to smile only one lady waitress blonde hair new starter was polite and smiled give her a job in staff training We asked for a bread roll during lunch, to be told, only for guests who have ordered soup ! Eventually after asking again they brought two over for the brides father... The evening event was a challenge when we struggled to understand why the part bottles of wine had disappeared from the table, when most of the guests were drinking spirits and beer etc. The penny , or should I say the C £17,000 dropped when the waitresses were removing full glasses of drinks from the table without checking! When challenged , the nonchalant response was to place the drinks back on the table and march off like petulant teenager! Our dismay was amplified the following day during a conversation with the restaurant manager told us , that 's what we do, If you need to keep your opened bottles of wine on the table you need to let us know , otherwise they will be removed! oh, so the wine is cleared along with the newly poured drinks too then? I don 't think we, or anyone else we know have ever been to a restaurant and even thought to tell the waiting staff not to take the half bottles of wine away before they have been emptied ? This usual practice was not discussed when we booked ! A cynic could suspect they re sell the newly recovered wine by the glass. This said, the manager did compensate with two bottles of the brides choice , so thanks for recognising the issue. But please consider NOT removing part bottles etc without checking in the first place."
