"I have being visiting the Heatons Tandoori since in my twenties and i have just turned 50 so went to celebrate with friends. The restaurant, food and staff has changed little over this time and still remains a top notch Indian restaurant to this day with the same head chef and owner Abi. Their service and quality is unrivalled and prices great value too. The Kulchi lamb slow cooked speciality dish is one of the best Indian dished i have tasted here, albeit a bit too much food for 4 people, the doggy bag was massive! but great to take home, i would reckon it would feed min 6 people. Great value dish. I like to think i am a methi gosht connoisseur and this dish served at the Heatons Tandoori is exactly how it should be cooked. Spot on imo. I would like to make a special thank you to Abi for the great night i had for my 50th celebratory meal, you made us feel very special and welcome yet again. Also can i request that the staff chicken curry you gave me be put on the menu, one of the best authetic curries i have ever tasted with a real great kick of fresh green chilli. Wow! Or at the very least give me the recipe and cooking instructions! Dont change guys one of my fave restaurants. Cheers again"

I visited the restaurant on Christmas Day and had an absolutely amazing experience. The owner, Abi, and the staff put in a lot of effort to make it a special day, and as always, the food was excellent. I would rate the service, food, and atmosphere all a 5 out of 5.

Fantastic Lamb Sagwala and Chicken Jalfrezi. The lamb was really tender and full of flavour. Bottle of very nice Malbec very reasonably priced. Great atmosphere and lovely staff. Excellent service despite the restaurant being really busy. We eat here regularly and can highly recommend it. Ver carta

My colleagues and I have our annual work event at AMG Cheshire, and the service is exceptional from everyone. The food is incredibly delicious. We typically dine in for dinner and the price per person is usually around £30-40. I highly recommend this restaurant for vegetarians as they have a large selection of vegetarian options. The atmosphere is fantastic, receiving a rating of 5 out of 5.

"A recent discovery for me is this beautiful Indian restaurant, which I rank up there with the best in Manchester, situated in the heart of Didsbury Village. Curries are without doubt my favourite food, so I've had a good few and since working for Yelp I have set myself the task of really locating the finest curry houses in Manchester. The Original Third Eye fully deserves to enter in at the top, alongside my other favourites, Punjab in Rusholme, Moon in Withington, and The Original Lal Qila on Deansgate. See my list for the run down. The name Original Third Eye comes from one of the finest restaurants in Kathmandu, though it is also a reference to the concept of the all Seeing Eye, a central emblem of Buddhist thought that is depicted on many temples and shrines throughout Nepal. The restaurant itself is large, and spacious, with authentic decoration and a smart, but still nicely informal, table arrangement. The food is literally unbelievable. Needless to say they sell all the usual traditional curry dishes, including an extensive fish list, but the main specialties are something new and unusual, a curry with a little something extra, taking it to that next level of joy and producing happiness and glee in their very consumption. The kidney kebab starter for example, combines classic kebab spices with beautiful marinated lamb kidney. Also beautiful is the Third Eye Tangri, which mixes chicken with minced lamb and nuts, a surprising and beautiful combination. In terms of mains, go directly to either the seafood menu or the Third Eye Specials section, on which everything is gorgeous. The piece de resistance, is the Murghi Masala, a whole chicken marinated in wonderful spices. This dish is so precisely crafted, that you in fact need to give 24 hours notice, and at least two people need to share it. I think that epitomizes this restaurant's absolute class. So I end on that note."
