Good vegetarian buffet. Incredibly expensive (welcome to Switzerland). Unfriendly manager, seems unhappy to work here. Free wifi next to the station.

The Hiltl Sihlpost, located close to the ZH HB, has exceptionally good food and a rich buffet with something for everyone. The service is friendly and quick. I'd love to come back :

All the food is clearly labeled for various allergens, although there are no mentions of possible cross contamination of allergens. The food in general is amazing, all of it is vegetarian. The atmosphere is pretty poor inside, outside is nicer if you have a sunny day.

Very good and centrally located. Great vegan and vegetarian diverse offering. Very fine desserts. Rather cramped inside and very loud. The Hiltl is located in a rather soulless place next to the main train station, so I find the tables outside to be okay, but not particularly pleasant. But I really enjoy going to Hiltl more often because of the food. Good address!

The food concept here revolves around vegetarianism and sustainability. While there are many Asian and Indian influences, the menu is not exclusively focused on these cuisines. The offerings are ideal for Muslims as well. You can choose your own vegetables, tofu, rice, quiches, and desserts, priced between 4.70 and 5.10 CHF per 100 grams. A typical plate usually costs around 25 CHF. Still water is provided for free. If you opt for takeaway and bring your own container, the price may drop to 4 CHF per 100 grams. Reservations are not possible; it's a walk-in only service.

It’s a totally different experience. All dishes are vegetarian or Vegan. Indian and Arabic available as well. It’s like you collect what you want, how much you want and finally pay at the counter for the weight of the food you picked. It’s 5.5 CHF per 100 grams. So be smart when you select your items. Take away available as well with paper bowls and plates. That too weighed and priced. Most dishes taste good. That’s an added plus point. Suitable for vegetarian Indians and Muslims who want vegetarian as Halal cannot be ensured at all restaurants. I missed the Arabic bread/ Pita bread. Otherwise a wholesome experience.

Awesome vegetarian and vegan food, you can basically eat your way around the world from Thai curry to samosas, and pakoras; a variety of cold, salads, veggie pâté and the like. Juices, cocktails, mock tails and wine by the glass, as well as a full selection of hot beverages are available. Outdoor patio when the weather is nice, the only downside is that in Switzerland, people smoke on patios, so look and make sure the wind is blowing the other way. Takeout containers available, and delightfully cheeky graphics delineating the male and female washrooms. This branch of the main restaurant which has been open for 125 years does a great job.
