"So you've been in France for a few weeks and you've quickly realised that the coffee is absolutely rubbish everywhere. So when you pull into the pretty little village called Guethary on the Cote Basque you think that you have absolutely no chance of a half decent brew. Prepare to be surprised! I am happy to report that Providence delivers the goods. The barista there today admitted that she was still improving her milk frothing, but I thought her cappuccino was spot on. This definitely beat any other coffee I've had in this part of the world and I intend to be propping up their bar for the rest of the time I am here."

"We just got out of the restaurant and... what a delight. We try, on the advice of Julie the manager, the Mezze and the crust paste, a perfect success between tradition and epicureism. My companion has feasted with the perfect cooked pintade, but it was not counting on the Santiago whose emulsion has transported me to Fecamp, his fishing area (thank you to Valentin for his explanations). Outstanding fresh products from beginning to end, served directly by the Chef, what a pleasure! We'll be back!!"

"My husband and I both agree that these burgers are the best we've had in a long time, maybe ever. The meat is tender (my patty fell apart and it wasn't a bad thing), cooked perfectly (mine **** and my husband's medium), and obviously fresh....The bun was soft and perfectly toasted. Just the right amount of cheese, toppings, lettuce for a well-balanced taste. Juicy and drippy as a burger should be, but not overly messy. My husband had the Basque and I had the Authentique and we were both happy. Additionally the fries were also perfectly prepared and seasoned. We shared a tomato and mozzarella salad to start which was good but nothing special. We also shared chocolate cake with creme anglaise for dessert, and it was outstanding. We highly recommend Le Peak! p.s. there are some good looking plates on the menu also."
