Hoegers 1910 - Menú

We have been to Hoegers many times and find the food and the service great,.. I would highly recommend :-)

Have been here for Hannover Messe, looking for a not crowdy place close my hotel. Service was fast, fodd is good (ravioli with vegetables)

We enjoyed the Hoegers in summertime (very good outdoor possibilities) as well as in the winter season. Good draft beer, pizzas, flammekuchen, and typical German good food. It is not a not a high-end restaurant but a very good everyday bistro.The service is excellent and the atmosphere is a mixture of "Gemuetlichkeit" and lifestyle.

Since the weather was great we reserved a table outside and it was great. The drinks were very good and the food was also good. As it was full though the service was a bit slow and we did not get any tapas (even bread) although we asked for it. But certainly a great place and recommend it to all to get a good taste of traditional German biergarten/restaurant!

Perfect for enjoying a coffee during the day on the outside terrace or a beer in the evening in the rustic designed inside. Unfortunately, the food is not recommendable: The burger bun was flavourless and dry just like the meat which was far from being juicy and the fries were not crispy at all. The homemade brawn was labelled incorrectly as pig instead of chicken brawn, the selfmade remoulade tartar sauce was not recognisable as such. The service was forgetful but friendly. All in all, I do recommend this place for a coffee or beer but don't come for dinner or for brunch.

The goose I had was pretty old I presume, the knife didn 't manage to cut the meat, another knife either. the vegetarian ordered salads had some slices bacon in it. When ask the waiter went to the kitchen and came back with the answer: I am sorry, it was prepared vegetarian, we can not imagine that there was /is any meat in the salad No replacement of the candles when finished, change of waiter during the evening. On top of all the card reader went down early in the evening, which was announced, however 3 hours later still broken, no replacement /repair or backup solution. Were advised to go to t...

Went to Högers on the advice of the hotel concierge. Alas, while the interior is interesting and the outdoor seating was pleasant, the service speed and accuracy were far off. They took our order -- for two people -- and one order (tradition German breakfast item with scrambled eggs and a variety of breads) arrived while the other did not. After about 25 minutes, a different waitress than the one who had taken my order advised us they had forgotten to enter it. They produced the forgotten item -- a Classic Burger, which the waitress had recommended over the schnitzel -- about five minutes later. We aimed to the TripAdvisor's #1 ranked place (at the time of writing this review) but we end up to this nice pub. The ambience is very nice, lights are at the correct brightness, tables at the right distance. We have been seated immediately and received the menus in less than a minute. We ordered two lager beers and they were immediately served. Along with the menu we got some recommendation from the house and we decided to go for a classic Wiener Schnitzel served with cold potatoes enriched with garlic and for a steak which was served with a savory cream baked potato.
