"the well-maintained hospitality was held here, after flyer, for 90 years. so far I can't report interesting things, but for 35 years we have been here several times a year. On the one hand, it was because the house was located quite on the edge of the city, but right on the road to the city, and on the other hand, as you always stayed close, and finally because it housed a Wienerwald for over a few years, which also offered other Bavarian foods. big, rustic dining room, we always liked it. Nevertheless it was always full, pulled out of me unknown reasons out Wienerwald a few years ago, and that was converted locally into the hendlhaus. the device remained the same, even here it could be stopped. in this year there was no more to our surprise also the hendlhaus, instead of which they can read about newly renovated facade hofbräu obermenzing. we decided to go to dinner in the evening, see what has changed. with good appetit, they had nothing more since the breakfast, we entered the local. the usual equipment no longer existed, but one can get used to something new, and badly did not look. dark wood, large chandelier, with harvested cramps, on the walls historical photos of the city part obermenzing. there were only a few tables occupied that made it appear a little bald. it also took 5 minutes to a waiter who brought us the card. he probably didn't know a German because he didn't speak a word. these disappointed a little. nix was with Bavarian quastens. soup, salad, grilled meat of all kinds with the same supplements. a few cold foods. it took a long time (not much for it) until a second waiter appeared, probably the German language mighty, which accepted our drink and the desire of eating. my man ordered Bavarian sausage salad with broth for 7.90 euro, and I grilled chicken breast for 13.50 euro. Belgian pommes, barbeque sauce and crumble butter were offered. we drank a small beer and a small spezi. it took quite a long time to eat, which looked quite delicious at the first sight, actually delicious, but after some color access, the teller was already empty, and we had still starving. the sausage salad, consisting of a few slices, swirling and dripping, hard broth that was mine, and for which a part of my pommes snapped, not saturated. my grilled chicken breast was cut into 5 narrow strips, one consisted almost only of bones, there was probably a rib on it, and the rest of my, in itself a few, pommes did not fill. in the quiet, the speechless was re-evacuated, and on the other I paid 26,50 euro with drinks, which was too much for me. Conclusion: 4 stars for the beautiful environment, the large beer garden, the many parking spaces. 2 stars for service and eating. my tipp for touris, who would like to eat typical Bavarian and in real Bavarian environment, please not."
