This is the second time I have stayed at the Hollly Bush, and I found it really enjoyable the staff were really helpful the food was excellent, the room was just right. I visited this place twice for food and drinks, and both experiences were outstanding! The staff were friendly, and there was a great selection of drinks available, including several gluten-free options for both food and drinks. Overall, I would rate the service and location as a perfect 5. A highlight of the hotel is its romantic atmosphere.

I made my way to the bar, where I found at least three cask hand pulls featuring interesting and high-quality beers—each proudly displaying the cask mark—as well as at least three real ciders, which was even better. The only slight drawback was the wait for service. Two young lads, likely too young to serve behind the bar, often walked past me waiting but didn’t seem to inform anyone else. Nonetheless, it wasn't a major issue. The ale was excellently kept, and I was particularly pleased with the snack options that included bacon rashers.
