"I would highly recommend the Restaurant Les Criquets. We had an absolutely fantastic meal there yesterday evening. The food was exceptional, the presentation a work of art. We had a 'tasting surprise menu with foie gras, lobster, lamb and a variety of ice-cream. Each dish was served with an excellent appropriate wine. It is no surprise that this restaurant is a Michelin restaurant...well deserved. The staff were discreet, highly professionnal and more importantly, very welcoming and pleasant. Gina (Ireland)"

Food was very good and quite expensive. Service felt pretty messy as it was a bit busy, but nothing unhandy. 2 the waiters looked very new, so it must have been the reason. Great big parking, but not very nice to drive next to dining tables to access it. Overall a very beautiful place in a small town outside Bordeaux.

The restaurant was open al 19.00 but we had to wait till 19.30 before we could go in. We had cocktails which were ok. The entree was very good, but the main course was disappointing. There was fish, which we don't like and only one choice for meat: rabbit, which was not very exiting. The digestif Calvados was tremendous experience. The service was nice and good.
