"We are smartbox customers.. we paid 190€ for 2 nights and 2 breakfasts everywhere in europe... and by spite we left in france (I don't recommend smartbox/wonderbox for travels! . We had a double room comfort normally charged to 69€ per night and 15€ per breakfast. We were expecting something nice from the French lodges but... what a disillusionment! We had the room N°20 at the bottom of the courtyard: small carpet stained on the ground, no heating (20 September=16° outside, bad smell everywhere but even more in the bathroom! The bathroom... let's talk in! Dace, bad smell, mold shower, grey glass on the shower tile, switch year 80, bench toilet and to crown the whole... not or little hot water... so the heat oscillates so have always played with the tap and either it's cold or warm or then boiling... not very good! I finish with the breakfast that normally is at 15€.... ben... coffee(not good or tea, water, orange juice then baguette(industrial , croissant(good but not many 4 slices of ham, 2 sort of cheese a little cereal... Anyway. for 15€ I find this a little light and poor quality. Positive point of the 'experience: 1 parking in the city centre= even if it is a bit acute... it is there and have to park in the center! 2 the restaurant, the food is good, the ratio of quality price and so the restaurant I recommend! 3 the bed... the mattress is great, have sleep very well. 4 the running wifi that allows you to catch well because the 4g is not crazy the bottom! Anyway... too much flat for us will not come back."

Perfect restoration. The hic is at the time of the check. They went to the menu tickets restaurants and no longer take the paper titles. When you save your restos tickets to enjoy your family during the holidays, it's missed. There are limits with the card. I'm not going to that address anymore.

A group of 16, some French and some English went for a 3 day tour of parts of Normandy and all stayed at The Hotel de France. The service and friendly approach of the owner and staff was excellent and we would thoroughly recommend the...hotel. We would definitely select it again as everyone on our trip felt the same. A real pleasure.
