"The Kaiserschmarrn was good and was freshly prepared although it wasn't on the menu (it's not always there) but it wasn't one of the best I've eaten. The zucchini lasagna was more of a vegetable casserole without pasta sheets and very dry. Probably from warming up. As a vegetarian, I think the idea and concept is great, as it is quite difficult to find vegetarian dishes in the huts, but the food is not completely convincing. Very unfortunate."

A really great clocky hut. Great food even for non-vegetarians. Great view. Simply fantastic in winter.

Please google the opening times online beforehand There are drinks in the fridge cash register when it's closed! Very nice view, despite the rest day

We cycled up, which was quite an effort. The hut is mega and very rustic and has a friendly staff who were able to handle the rush. Recommended again at any time

Very rustic, authentic hut, very friendly welcome, cake and coffee very good, seating inside and outside, very nice view, vegetarian/partly vegan menu, prices ok, highly recommended

The hut is small but very cozy. Since the vegetarian offerings on alpine pastures are very limited, I was pleasantly surprised when I heard about the overall vegetarian concept. Unfortunately, the vegan lasagna wasn't that convincing, the Kaiserschmarrn was okay.

The food is good and it's great that there's some vegan options. If everything is regional and freshly prepared, the high price for the food is justified. I think the drink prices are totally exaggerated. 4.50 and self-service for beer is already steep. The view is of course fantastic.

Very nice alpine hut with vegetarian and vegan dishes. The climb through the forest is steep and leads over many roots and stones not suitable in bad weather. The other route leads along an asphalt road. From the parking lot in Kappel to the hut it takes about 60 minutes and 280 meters in altitude.

What a location! The Terrace is absolutely heavenly and the wooden hut looks fresh out of a Heidi film. The love and attention to everything is clear wherever you look. I had a most delicious Hüttenwrap. The vegetarian/vegan philosophy is a refreshing change to the ‘standard’ that is found in most the huts in the area. An unexpected closing highlight was having to go over to Grandma to pay. ;
