Nice friendly, fabulous food. I had Steak and my Daughter had Hunters chicken there sauce is the best iv ever had.Its my daughters favourite restaurant.

Stopped off on journey home after a day at Lulworth Cove. Lovely evening meal of ‘Surf n Turf’. Steak flavoursome and really well cooked. Very good quality pub food. Service excellent with super friendly and welcoming staff. Thank you !

we were staying at River Cottage.This came up as the nearest pub and with good reviews.The pub offers plenty of parking.Ambiance was lovely and plenty of spacious seating.An extensive menu with reasonable pricing.So would highly recommend

Just a brilliant and relaxed dinner. Had just mentioned in passing when booking the table it was a surprise meal for my daughter’s birthday pleasantly surprised to a happy birthday banner on the table. Service was friendly and food was lovely. Thank you very much!

Had a nice Sunday lunch with a choice of lamb, beef , turkey or mixed meats. Meal came with plenty of veggies and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice choice of desserts but would recommend to book. Will be coming here for breakfast a the menu looked tasty.

Family of 9, celebrating 2 birthdays, phoned up 20 minutes before coming up to you, due to being let down by another local pub, your food was amazing, 7 steak meals all cooked beautifully, and other meals too, will defo be coming up again, staff are so welcoming and polite, had a lovely evening, thank you do much.

Have driven past here many many times, his however was the first time that we’ve eaten in here. Called in for breakfast, plenty of seating in this large dog friendly pub. Friendly staff, who gave us time to decide. All breakfast’s served to our table were freshly cooked extremely tasty. Nicely decorated pub with nice atmosphere. Thoroughly recommended.

We visited Hunter's Lodge last year when on holiday in the area and had an excellent meal so it was lovely to have the chance to return this weekend while visiting Lyme Regis. I booked a table by email and received a prompt response and we had a lovely table reserved for our arrival. We only had main courses as we had eaten a snack at lunchtime but our chosen courses were all excellent Surf and Turf, Hunter's Chicken, Chilli con Carne and Chicken Strips with BBQ sauce. We had generous portions and the food was fresh and steaming hot. Service was excellent! Really looking forward to the chance of visiting again when we are in that part of Dorset. Very many thanks to the staff!

We run a Welcome Cafe for people who live alone and people who just need company and support. We come under the umbrella of the Lyme Regis Development Trust and we decided that we would treat nearly thirty people to a Christmas lunch and the Hunters Lodge did us proud. The Christmas table decorations were beautiful and the lunch was excellent and so well presented. Service was first class and the staff were so kind to our visitors. We really don’t know where to start to thank you Hunters Lodge for giving us all such a wonderful afternoon and you can be sure that your community spirit in helping so many people to enjoy an afternoon in the run up to Christmas will not go unnoticed.
