stopped some times for a coffee. the center of the village (as happens in all countries.) spacious room with outdoor veranda. possibility to make a quick meal at noon. parking and gas station in the square in front. forced stop if you climb towards the valleys as the next stations are about 40 km.

pizzeria with kitchen, bar, which also sells newspapers and gasoline. absolutely to put on the agenda, I think it is one of the oldest taverns in the area, today completely renovated, it is certainly not a place for you if you look for luxury or confidentiality but here you can breathe air of home and of good and simple things, pregnant of genovesity from the start, starting from the fried dumpling, the wonderful vegetables. convenient prices and friendly staff make it a memorable place!

we ate out and I must say it was fresh; the veranda without side protections that give. on the adjacent main road is neither beautiful nor comfortable. apart from this however the pizza was really good and the owners very kind with everyone. a place as if they could no longer see, with newsstands, tobacco and gas station. a regret also knowing that the owners are renouncing the reins and for now there are no bidders willing to detect the activity (but not change the pizzaiolo and the staff, eh)!

before taking the road from malvaro faval that leads to the scoglina pass, there is the cupelli bar. here we stop to make gasoline, to swing a little before embarking on a move or towards the mountains or towards the sea. quiet environment, serene, clean, often during my break I stop for a coffee, listen to news from TV or watch a game straw or listen to music depending on the TV program of the moment. their production of pizza and focaccia is excellent and such is also the coffee mixture. the pizzeria works well and I recommend it to everyone. stopping in this corner of the world where sometimes time seems to have stopped enjoying the landscape but above all a time break full of the goodnes...
