I went to the pack to have dinner with my friend, and I found myself great! great food, great hospitality not to mention the location where we dined, the true alley of roma! I highly recommend it to all.

good carbonara, I asked for a mixed vegetables and made me pay a dish with 3 types of vegetables in very small quantities without telling me that I would pay the dish 18€ as if I had taken three single contours.

a lovely place to eat in the heart of roma, a stone's throw from the pantheon and the navona square. the atmosphere is really suggestive, especially in the evening. There is a pergola of edera that makes this little corner of paradise even more fascinating. the bacaro is a historical restaurant of the capital, capable of combining tradition and modernity. the cuisine, in fact, ranges from tradition to culinary innovation, able to satisfy every palate, even the most demanding one, to emphasize also the kindness of the staff and the absolutely reasonable prices. You can't go to the rome!

I went for lunch Dec ‘21 OVERALL: I don’t think they particularly want foreigners there, waitress was quite curt in the beginning when explaining the food and seemed bothered by having to explain the menu (although she became friendlier after a while). Why not spend the money and time somewhere more welcoming? FOOD: decent, similar prices to other ristorante, but overall nothing breathtaking; puréed starter was great, then I artichoke pasta, was ok, nothing special, then had rabbit, a bit dry and chewy INTERIOR: in a quiet back alley, I think there are nicer places to sit and spend time

small, a little dark, with some table outside a street without traffic. good reception by the owner, equipment of the minimalist tables with a menu with few proposals not only of the Roman culinary tradition and some interesting dishes of the day. the dishes are all expressed and waiting times in the norm. good mixed appetizer based on meats and cheeses to follow a delicate truffle cutter (white) and as sweet a discreet cheesecake with the fruits of the wood. all accompanied by a glass of chianti wine (2020.)
