"in a warm evening of August, wandering among the hills of the Florentine chianti, we came across the restaurant village of cortefreda, at the homonymous wonderful Relais. Although without reservation we were well received by a girl of the staff who made us sit, detached from the guests of the relais, on a very cozy outdoor veranda. Entering the main entrance we could not not appreciate the location in its entirety. A pleasant exclusive environment with different rooms suitable for every need and occasion, such as the refined main room, with no less than table places, probably also used for receptions and events and the veranda with stone walls, in addition to the “Limonaia”, light room overlooking the garden. So well received we then dined ordering as appetizer a tartare of beef and pumpkin flowers, both well prepared dishes. As seconds we opted – reciprocally exchanged my wife and I – of the Lamb accompanied by herb and duck breast. All watered by a half bottle of burnt (tenuta bolgheri,) as well as swallowing which desserts a millefoglie al pistachio and a cake with apples and raspberries. coffee and grappa for a final price of euro per couple that I would say well spent, both for quality, and for comfort and friendliness of the staff."

"Sono rimasto molto impressionato dall'esperienza che ho avuto al ristorante Gramola. situato in un paesaggio collinare incantevole, questo ristorante offre una cucina eccezionale che ha lasciato un segno indelebile sul mio palato. dall'arrivo, sono stato accolto calorosamente da personale cortese e attento, che ha reso il mio soggiorno ancora più piacevole. l'atmosfera del ristorante è elegante e raffinata, con tocchi di tradizione toscana che si riflettono nei mobili e nell'ambiente accogliente. il menu offre una selezione di piatti che meglio rappresentano la cucina chianti. Ho avuto il piacere di assaggiare diverse specialità locali, e ogni corso ha superato le mie aspettative. uno dei miei corsi preferiti era l'aglio . è stato reso impeccabile, con i sapori degli ingredienti che si mescolano perfettamente. accompagnando il mio pasto con un vino locale, ho apprezzato la vasta selezione di vini del chianti presenti nella loro cantina. il personale era ben preparato e in grado di consigliare il vino perfetto per ogni corso, arricchindo ulteriormente l'esperienza gastronomica. Nel complesso, la grammatica del ristorante è un vero gioiello culinario che merita una visita."

"Incredibly good pizza and service. We stopped by La Vecchia Piazza for a more casual meal after many evenings of formal dining. It appeared that the place was full of locales as we seemed to be the only English speaking patrons. The two pizzas, one margharita and one eggplant, were a true delight and the service/hospitality was even better. We would definitely recommend without hesitation. The best pizza that we've ever had in Italy and we have had plenty. Best wishes."

"This restaurant has a nice terrace with a great view over the Chianti area (see photo) The menu has many nice dishes to offer from starters to desserts, also the staff is really nice. They also have a great selection of good wines. We had a great night out and can definitely recommend the steak tartare (primi) and the steak (secondi). Also the deserts were delicious! Make reservations as it can be busy."

"siamo stati accolti molto calorosamente. quando ci siamo seduti quello che penso sia il proprietario, era amichevole, intelligente al punto giusto. alla fine si ocitò a dire addio. accoglienza e ottima atmosfera. locale in un piccolo bellissimo villaggio.
