As a first course we took the ceppe, a type of local pasta handmade by a 90 year old lady, with porcini mushrooms and bacon, truly special. Then wonderful lamb chops with a side of chicory. The rooms are modern with parquet. Large bathroom, everything clean. Excellent breakfast, with sweet, savory, juices and fruit.. The only problem is that the rooms are above the room that hosts the ceremonies. In the event of an event with music it is difficult to sleep before midnight.

Brought to Il Casolare by our Italian relatives who had been many times before. Food was delicious; the mozzarella in the antipasto was divine, soft and luscious; spaghetti with mushroom served with shaved truffle; delicate fried olive Ascolane, zucchini strips pumpkin flowers; lamb with potatoes and so on!
