".on a Monday afternoon when they did not have the opportunity to eat at lunch and are inseparable by the valley from a closed restaurant to the other. here they end at the end of the pm, starve and cold and hope for a...warm supp or so. unfortunately at this time of the day the kitchen is closed and all they offer are sandwiches and a few salads. the service was friendly, especially with the children who got extra tasty on their homemade rustic salami sandwich. the cheese and the salad of the adult äcker lacked any kind of inspiration that tasted it with a piece of orange, was the funniest of it. the environment is typical of a swiss village pub any kind of decoration that ever crosses the hands of the owner finds a place somewhere and stays there forever. local biertrinker met this afternoon on the regular table, but it seemed that they had many reservations for the evening too. I'm back to check the kitchen when it's hot. I want to be surprised."

"Wir waren vor ein paar Jahren schon da, jetzt wieder immer wenn wir in der Nähe campen. Auch unter dem neuen Besitzer ist es ausgezeichnet und empfehlenswert. Das Essen (Pizza Cordonbleu) war sehr fein, Pizza übbig und frisch belegt, der Rand (den wir ab und zu weglassen) war super gut. Die Kellner sind freundlich und aufgeschlossen. Der Kellner hat es mir angetan, nur schon wegen ihm würde ich wiederkommen. Wenn in der Region, dann ist das Rest. Sunneberg immer ein Besuch wert. "Der junge Mann gibt sich grosse Mühe und es ist wirklich fein, was mir gegessen (resp mitgenommen zum daheim essen) haben. Die Preise sind moderat und gefallen. Schade, hat er Sonntags geschlossen. Aber irgendwann muss er ja frei machen. Wir kommen wieder"
