The food here was of the highest standard. It was really well presented and tasted fantastic. Service was warm and welcoming. Would definitely go back.

the place is well maintained, clean and very beautiful, and is located in the historic center of the vine. very nice garden too. great service. pizza is good, well digestible, they do not have a wide choice but they are all excellent. recommended recommended

We stopped in Viterbo en route and were surprised by the depressed atmosphere of the town. However we stumbled on il papero by accident and were delighted with the food and service. We enjoyed carpaccio of beef and a coffee in the sunshine. Great place to drop in and people watch.

really good food. pizza is exceptional, in my opinion one of the best pizzas of life. delicious and delicate risotto. the external location is a garden/restaurant in the city center, clean, attention to detail, intimate. fast service and very friendly staff. We'll be back. recommended! Ver carta

we come very often because it is a well-kept restaurant and offers very good and special dishes. The only pecca is the difficult access with strollers and therefore also for the disabled to the outdoor garden in summer which is on the upper floor only accessible with a climbing. the staff and the owner are very welcoming and kind.

This welcoming restaurant is one of those special places where you can lose hours simply by calmly eating good food. It's not the cheapest place in (inexpensive) Viterbo but we had a fine steak for €15. We returned here for a 2nd, equally successful meal, and spent about €30-35 each both times. Slightly weirdly, we were very nearly the only men in the place on our the 2nd visit.

public parking, free and paid, limitrofo difficult, parking available 300 m near bus station. restaurant in historic stone building. a high tractor table for the chairs provided, arranged outside in front of the entrance and in the interior rooms. terrace on the upper floor to be set in favorable periods, definitely to visit. excellent welcome, respecting the related standards Covid-19 (gel, masks, tables). large rooms with clothes hangers, modern furnishings, well-kept rooms.
