the place is small enough so better to book. fresh fish and well cooked with portions not too abundant. excellent sweets a little “too dear” wines. courteous service and prices in general good.

We visited borgo San Lorenzo during our stay in barberino di mugello. We had lunch here. It is cozy restaurant at small square. No English menu. The owner (women) sereved the table. Briefly explained special of the day. Food tasty, I personally had tagliata. It was simply outstanding Nice atmosphere, good food and wine. Many local people came for a lunch Will be glad to come back once again

We went for an early lunch, a party of 6 plus a baby en route to the airport. It is only a small interior so we were lucky they could accommodate us. We shared a mixed seafood appetiser what a treat mussels, crab pate and squid and some tomato bruschetta. Lovely. Two of us had the fritto misto mare and it was the absolute best crispy and not oily, perfectly seasoned. The other four chose a variety of pastas which they all raved about. Great food, all freshly made, reasonably priced. Highly recommend. Ver carta
