Good salad and ravioli! Go and taste! Good toscan wine and atmosphere. Italian Service. We recommend this restaurant.

In one word: amazing. We had the ravioli with safran, the cheese and the ginger icecream. Go there. And the wine is amazing too.

Lately I came back with my girlfriend to this nice little spot in Berlin. The food keeps being outstanding and the service is always super-friendly. Definitely to go!

I just casually bumped into this place with a friend and it was definitely worth! We ate really good italian food. Tiny space but the service was great and the quality awesome with traditional and original italian products. Being italian you really feel at home! Prices are a little high but this is normal when the quality is high level! The dessert was amazing!

I can't believe we have only discovered this place now, when we're about to move away from this negihborhood! This wonderful little deli-cum-bistro is well worth returning to (especially as the concept is to keep a short and constantly changing menu). Ingredients and products are carefully sourced from sustainable food producers throughout Italy, as we found out from the friendly waitress. The price tag is a bit high, but the quality and taste of food more than makes up for it. Maybe I can afford to return less often than I'd like to, but return I will! Ver carta

If you cannot distinguish a perfectly cooked italian meal from a fairly well cooked, this is not your place. If you cannot distinguish pure natural fresh ingredients from any ingredients this is not your place. If you cannot distinguish brilliant italian wine selection from good italian wine selection this is not your place. You shall find it expensive. I found it very logically priced. Attentative and friendly service family atmosphere and a great place created by a young couple from southern Italy. Do not miss also cheese and ham with your last wine glass(es). Do not miss it!

we ordered "Handmade Strascinati with Ragout of Salsiccia Pezzente Materana and Pecorino". it was yummy (except for the sausage kinda things inside for me, but i could eat 2 more plates, it was not enough at all. we, 5 adults, ate the same maindish and we all left the table hungry. the menu was poor; 5 people ended up choosing the same dish. we think that it didnt worth what we paid for, which was not cheap. for that hipster area, i guess it was normal.the chairs outside were very uncomfortable. there were some things we didnt know in the menu but the waitress was not helpful at all when we asked for more information and she simply read the menu. i would not go there again.

I visited Il Grillo on a Thursday evening with an Italian friend of mine and we enjoyed the most amazing meal in a warm, cozy environment. The evening took a very leisurely pace and we started with three appetizers: a salumi plate with a little bit of cheese; a white bean "hummus" type appetizer with sauteed veggies on top; and an amazing burrata, all with delicious fresh bread. My friend and I shared our main courses which were the lasagne and the fish ravioli. Both were amazing but the lasagne really stood out. As a meat-centric eater, I rarely choose to eat a vegetarian lasagne but I am extremely glad I gave this one a shot. It was to die for! We ended with a chocolate souffle. Our dinner... Ver carta
