We were not enamored with either the food or the service. I ate tortellini. They were ok, not delicious. My husband thinks he had cinghiale on noodles, which he felt the same way about. Ver carta

a historical trattoria. a traditional menu with pleasant revisits of known dishes. good wine list. professional and fast service. average high account. the attentive and enthusiastic owner, coordinates the service and oversees the tables.

What a gem! This restaurant is a true locals spot in a charming piazza in Lucca. The food was the best we had during our trip to Lucca! I definitely recommend the Steak Fiorentina, delicious! Also, there was dancing and music in the square right next to the restaurant which was fun to watch while we were eating. Highly recommend this place!

characteristic place, very warm and welcoming. dishes made with care of the raw material. Lucchesi tordelli a little too spicy but good. ok stracotto with mashed potatoes, of course crafted. excellent selection of wines with offer of the territory super. Good desserts. correct quality/price ratio. a place to return to taste different dishes. Ver carta

local products, homemade pasta and bread, excellent wine of the house. among the appetizers we tasted the mixture and especially the excellent focaccia and lard. a couple of remarkable seconds choked with purée and wild boar with polenta. excellent also the chestnut. quick service, friendly staff, nice environment, great quiet location but very close to the center.

I and my wife dine in mid-September in this local historian: furniture loaded with objects but that gives a pleasant feeling. friendly service (of the waiters, less from the owner) but a little slow. Menù, among the offers, lists classic dishes of the city tradition, taste of the excellent Lucca tordelli, my wife instead lets herself be tempted by a dish of testaroli to the very delicate pesto. excellent seconds too: Lucchesi and baccalà with pores. the quality of raw material is immediately perceived. very interesting wine paper with local wines of sure interest but with embroidery for me to review at the bottom. account beyond expectations.

I don't think it's enough to appreciate the various dishes they can offer. all the oat products are (at the limit of possible) coming from the surroundings of luxuriant, and the wine of the house deserves an excellent mention. exquisite meat appetizer that includes lard, to be combined with their hot focaccia; a real joy for the palate. to try at least once in my life the testaroli of pontremoli, of which I had never heard of, but that I was amazed despite the particular aspect. the bread pudding is delicious, a sort of sweet creams but with a much better texture than the original dessert: definitely to take.
