"Horrible place. We sat outside of the restaurant around noon and had to wait half an hour for someone to show up. We ordered drinks, asked for them to turn on the outside heating and waited another half an hour to receive them, only to find a thick layer of dust and dirt on the edge of the cup. Disgusting. The heating was still not turned on. The waiter 's excuse? He 's too busy for such menial things. We asked him nicely again when he came back and he went and turned on the heating other tables, but not for us. We then told him our heating isn 't working and he literally said he doesn 't care. Things spiraled out of control and he just took away our drinks suddenly, because he didn 't want us there. We went inside to tell this to the manager. The manager doesn 't care either, he refused to speak to us. But I noticed the restaurant was mostly empty. The waiter said he was too busy, while he was simply picking his nose inside the whole time. Our drinks were gone, so we left. The spiteful waiter even pushed us on the way out. Do not go here."

Great pizza, great pasta and perfect veal. Paired with an excellent service and a great view across the Heumarkt when sitting outside on a warm summer afternoon or evening dinner or lunch are an experience.

Better at lunch when the huge pizzas are EUR7.95 and there are a range of specials. In addition, it does not get as crowded so you are not squashed next to other guests. Went on a Friday evening and left before sitting down as we were being sat with another couple. This would always put me off more than the price of the pizza.

The interior of this place is nice because of its elegance. Candles on the tables and the ceiling painting are very nice. The menus are newspapers which I didn't think was fitting at all but that's my opinion. The staff was friendly and maybe sometime I will go back for the food.

As I'm sitting here, waiting on the server to get our check (40 mins post finishing, 2.5 hours after arrival) my number of stars in this rating is ticking down. Can't tell from outside, but this place is huge and the service can't keep up with it. Soooo slow! Food was mediocre. Soups too salty. Bread with olive oil and balsamic was okay (but I had to walk to another table to get the oils myself). Bolonaise pasta was fine. Nothing special and light on the meat. Wine selection was also mediocre. Pass this place up for something less touristy.
