Dropped in for lunch. Popular with Berliners who presumably come here specifically as there's little else around with it being on one of the main thoroughfares. Good selection of traditional Italian dishes and friendly staff happy to help.

The food, ambience and wine were very good but the service was spoiled completely when our guest asked for a glass of water, just tap water. The waitress went into overdrive claiming that they were only here to make money and sell water. Very angrily fetched a glass of water and then systematically kept removing items each time she passed the table, there goes the bread, there goes unfinished wine glass ....

Great place to have lunch or dinner. Marco the owner is always present and a fantastic host! So hands on and he cares about every guest at his restaurant. Have been here many times and also celebrated numerous birthdays and family occasions in the back of the restaurant, which can be made into a private dining area for events such as birthdays etc. Located directly above the train station. Good food and great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

The Restaurant looked after ten of us with varying food and drink requirements and we were delighted with the overall standard of attention! Wines were very good and I gather the beer served was appreciated! Food was as expected on our third visit!!Price levels were such I had a pleasant surprise when presented with the bill!!Looking forward to the next visit to Berlin!Il Paqssetto is adjacent to Herrstrasse Station on the S5 line of the S-Bahn network.

We had business in Siemensdamme, so going to a restaurant in Spandau was very convenient. It's a bit off the beaten path, but worth the search. The house itself is very quaint, and there is a large outside seating area with a view of the lake at sunset. The food is very, very good, the portions perfect, the prices reasonable, and the service attentive. Michael is a wonderful host, giving this eatery a personal touch. I will go back every time I return to Berlin.

This is the fancier version of the more basic italian restaurant Rafih on the other side of Teufelsseestrasse. Il passetto is located inside the old S-Bahnstation Heeerstrasse.They do make great Vitello tonnato , there pasta dishes are pretty good as well. I am not so fond of the 80s architecture of the restaurant , but if you concentrate on the food you 't be disappointed..Staff is ver friendly .Il passetto has outside seating which is nice during the warmer months.

Fantastic- the food was wonderful, our waitress recommended the tomato and buffaloe mozzarella salad which was not only beautiful but delicious (the slight extra money for buffaloe mozz makes all the difference!). A plentiful green salad followed by two pasta dishes, and we were very very pleased. I found it through trip advisor by searching "good restaurants within walking distance of our hotel"...and this one was every bit as great as I expected. Do not be offset by the fact it is next to the S5 entrance- it is charming and delicious. Going back again tonight to try the fish dishes!!

This was a disappointment for me since the other reviews were very good, and maybe I went at a bad time. This restaurant had a very nice atmosphere and seemed quite nice, plus the wait staff were friendly, patient and efficient. I thought things were going well when the bread, olives, and tapanade arrived, all of which were delicious and went well with the very nice carafe of house red I ordered. The starter was the Tris di Antipasto alla "Il Passetto" (raw salmon, raw beef, and veal), which was presented beautifully. Yet the only thing that had flavor was the salmon, which was in a fantastic sauce, while the beef and veal were very bland. Thinking this was a fluke, I looked forward to my ma...

The restaurant has moved and is now located on the pichelssee, just about another 10 min busride from its original location. It has a absolutly gogeous view of the lake and breathtaking sunsets. If you want and can you can even dock your boat at their doc for the evening while you dine either on their large porch or inside. I have been going there for the same dish since I was a child. They are by far the best place to eat real authentic italian noodles at that I know of. Order the noodles with lamb or the pfefferlinge or the vodka salmon sauce. Those are the absolut hits.
