"We were recommended Il Pozzo as one of only 2 authentic local cuisine restaurants in Reggio Emilia. We were not disappointed, the menu was a wide choice and included many local dishes and local ingredients. The staff speak excellent English and will take the time to explain the menu. This is a wonderful family run restaurant, that 90% of people would pass by without knowing what is behind the simple entrance doors. Great food, excellent wines and wonderful service. Great value too. Would visit again and again."

Beautiful location in the central square of the theatres. Well-kept interior spaces and good outdoor space. The menu is nice balanced with typical products and no. Great wine card. The dishes are well presented and really good. Price/performance ratio that tends upward, but is worth it.
