"We had an amazing experience at Palmaria Restaurant....starting from the view... What to say, the terrace has the most beautiful view in town and the atmosphere with music and lights make the dinner so special. From starter to dessert, we wanted to taste the local choices. In this chapter I have to say We felt very well guided by the staff, they were so prepared and explained every course with a lot of passion and knowledge. As we expected the ingredients were so fresh and every dish was unforgettable. We loved the pasta al pesto!"

"We chose the restaurant mainly for the view which was absolutely stunning! We were watching the sun go down and the lights go on over picturesque Portovenere while being served by competent, friendly and attentive staff. The food was partly delicious such as my lobster pasta and my husband’s raw salmon he took as a starter. But we were disappointed by the flavourless and rather dry red snapper and the chewy sea urchin in my husbands pasta. But we can definitely recommend the delicious Tiramisu and the complimentary sweets were a nice ending to an unforgettable dinner experience."

"we stayed at lunch in this beautiful restaurant that has a veranda overlooking the sea priceless! we were with two dear friends, the maria amelia monti and marina massironi, we got some really great food! the cutters of nettle to the seafood and spaghetti to the clams really superb: good! I, blessed, maria amelia and marina would like to thank the beautiful ladies, is all the staff, who welcomed us with warmth and goodness! "In passeggiata a Porto Venere abbiamo deciso di fermarci qui, attirati dalla location. Purtroppo i posti all’esterno erano già prenotati , così ci siamo accomodati dentro.Il servizio e’ stato gentile e abbastanza veloce, un po’ di difficoltà a volte a chiamare qualcuno. Ma erano in pochi a fare servizio in sala, a mio parere. Quindi penso sia dovuto a questo.Il cibo molto buono: dalle trofie cotte perfettamente e condite con un ottimo pesto, al filetto che si scioglieva in bocca; per non parlare dei dolci davvero squisiti.Prezzi nella media, considerando dove siete.Una piacevole scoperta senza dubbio . Personale molto cortese"

"the fraction of the graces of Portovenere is a true small but bright pearl of the gulf, quiet especially in low season, a nice walk and a good restaurant that inside the hotel of the bay. you enter the hall (see photo) which is also the entrance of the restaurant, very nice among other things, very kind the girl of reception and kind, available and friendly waiters, both the lady and the colleague (young people) . we had booked and we was left the table near the window with beautiful view on the whole bay (sinked for the cars parked right in front. ) we opted for the appetizers of the house and we did well, 7 courses all new at least for us, delicious and really good, then 2 spaghetti to the well presented cartoccio, collected in the tinla in the form of swan (see photo,) rich of seafood and to the tooth as we like. I would like to say that, in my view, a suggestion to the cook: Larger spaghetti and possibly to get them married with seafood, I think they had just met, however promoted but without praise, and given the abundance of seafood and not only, they deserve to know each other better and more in depth. 1 sweet 1 coffee 1 franciacorta rosè for the honest amount of 105 euros, inclusive of the hateful 5 euros of covered that still seems to me incomprehensible beyond that obsolete and out of context. I sure know we'd come back, maybe before the summer season starts where parking becomes a real problem."
