great in everything. great in the kitchen, as big as a table service, as big as the staff, great as cleaning toilet. to return and advise.

We went to this restaurant three times , being conveniently located with respect to our hotel. All dishes we chosen were good and reasonably priced. The staff was efficient , polite and friendly.. Ver carta

The place is in the same building as our hotel, smack in the city center. The waiter was very friendly and efficient advising my wife about her lactose intolerance. I had a very good tagliere followed by pumpkin tortelli. A rather nice local Merlot wine was also provided. The price was convenient and the 20% discount for booking via The Fork made it a bargain. Recommended!

large room located in the beautiful center of mantova but could give more, small choice in the menu with good dishes but nothing exceptional. Nice pinsa. negative note the wine card with the usual small choice and prices a little exaggerated, we took a valpolicella not knowing the label then discovering that a bottle to sell apart this point prices in the average. I don't think I'm going back.

We visited Il Trovatore on a quiet evening towards the end of the season. Decided not to be put off by some terrible reviews and were glad to have given the restaurant the benefit of the doubt, because the owner and waitress were quietly welcoming, looked after us very well and served excellent food. It was a good atmosphere,with a sophisticated fee but without being intimidating, mostly with small groups and couples, and we would certainly return if we go back to Mantua. Ver carta
