Went here for a 40th in their outside 'tent ' style area. Had a great time . Ordered food later on in the evening from here and it was good quality and very tasty. Staff were friendly and provided great service. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We waited over 90 minutes for our mains to arrive (starters were relatively quick). Some people came in after us, got the full order, and then left before we got our main. We repeatedly got told it was because of the large table they had in but again, the majority of these people got their main course before we did. It was so loud in there. We asked for the music to be turned down, which they did, but the large table that was in was just so loud it spoiled the evening even further. The server we had was polite and kept us updated but we couldn't wait to get out of there ultimately, after waiting so long for everything. Ver carta

A hidden gem located just a stone's throw from The Shakespeare North! I didn't realize how close it was until a staff member inquired if we were attending the theater, offering to remind us five minutes beforehand. Their professionalism and courtesy were truly commendable. The food was both delicious and abundant, and the staff were attentive and polite. The bistro also offers plenty of parking, which can be easily paid for through the NCP app. I’m already looking forward to my next visit! My only suggestion would be to open during the day for coffee, as their prices are much more reasonable than most coffee shops. If I could pick no stars I would. Never experienced anything like the appalling behaviour of the owners at a surprise 50th Birthday last Saturday. Arrived to no wine glasses and was told it was because 70 people had descended on them (don't think so it had been pre-booked a long time ago! Happy to let that go until the buffet arrived. To charge £700 for what was provided was a disgrace and what was even more of a disgrace was how the manager reacted when challenged. Our friend who had arranged it all was so upset but paid the bill regardless. The party carried on and the manager happily kept taking our money for drinks. Started out a lovely day! Ordered starters and let the kids have a play. Kids food come and the nuggets tasted of pepper! Then a few hours later we ordered our mains. 3 specials a burger and a pasta dish. 2 specials, the burger and a pasta dish come out. The pasta dish was a children 's portion (which was recifified immediately (amazing) but the last special didn 't arrive and no mention of it. We asked about 20 minutes later (when we seen a waitress/waiter) to which we were told oh yes I will check.
