Indisches Restaurant Asman

Enjoyed two vegetarian curries (there were a lot of different vegetarian choices). Both served with salad and rise. Flavour was great. Price was small. Portion was enough.

The food was good. Dal especially was great, but the naans were more like the Moroccan Pita Bread. Generous portions, so be careful before ordering and curries come with rice.

Nice place with very nice food at reasonable prices. They have nice lunch menus at great prices. Portions are pretty big. Service is nice and fast. I've been here 10 times so far and never a single complaint.

If you are used to - and looking for - spicy and delicious Indian food, don't go. The food is bland, as if cooked by German cooks from Meck Pom who could not be bothered to buy the right ingredients. Boring and disappointing.

Selten so schlecht in Berlin gegessen. Gemüsegericht mit viel Kartoffeln (das passt doch nicht in ein Reisgericht), Unmengen an überwiegend rohen Zwiebeln, überwiegend rohem Paprika. Herzlich wenig Geschmack.Viel auf dem Teller zu haben ist bei dem Essen nicht gut.

Der Service fand statt, mehr lässt sich auch darüber nicht sagen. Werde positiv noch negativ. Das Mangocurry war sehr lecker und fruchtig. Das Hähnchencurry war eher enttäuschend. Die Portion war günstig (8,90€) und hat satt gemacht. Geschmacklich war leider nicht viel dran. Schade. Etwas mehr pepp hat ein “gut“ verhindert.

Visited this restaurant last night as it was very close to where we were put up in Berlin. Other than the complimentary jeera rice and tossed salad, which were good, and the butter parathas, the gravies were awful. The papads were pre-roasted and smelt of...age. Chunks of chicken were just boiled and tossed into thin tasteless curries. The hospitality, warmth and taste of India was totally missing!

Corona measures do not seem to disturb this place. The waitresses did not wore the masks right, we were not asked for contact details, and although social distancing seemed to be good at first, it was not. During the time we spent in the restaurant, people were placed at least three times too close. The service was slow and not professional. We had to wait very long before orders were removed (and place was not full). The food was poor, but at least cheap.

Well, it was the strangest culinary experience that waitress had never heard of Gin... we also had to call them to take our order, although the place was empty, once our appetizers (chicken-Nuggets) chicken parody the plates were not deleted before they... appeared with more plates of salad bowls, which was strange for an Indian restaurant... then the net came, at this point I had begun as a car crashed. Eating was fine, service was hard tbh the waitress could not have seen less interested, even if she paid and we told her that she kept the change she shook and went away. I would avoid this place unless you are drunk and want a laugh
