"Well, actually they deserve five stars! The food tasted great, the prices are really okay, the whole preparation is very authentic (even if they have adapted it to the Germans, which I don't mean as a criticism here!! The rooms are in a 300 year old house that is protected, which gives the whole thing a rustic feel, even if it doesn't quite fit with the Indian theme, but somehow it makes the whole thing much more comfortable. Maybe you could point out that the false ceiling creaks quite loudly, but honestly, that's just part of the house! The reason a star was deducted is because it takes quite a long time. Of course, they can't teleport and if a restaurant is full, you just have to expect a wait. For me it's more about the drinks (not my mangolassi, but the other drinks, my beer no longer had any foam when it came to the table, but I don't want to make any accusations about that either, it can happen to anyone that the foam simply runs out doesn't last or the starter salads. But apart from that point, it is absolutely recommended! The service was super friendly and even when we had forgotten the time and it was getting a little late, we were never given the feeling that we had to hurry up, we had experienced it completely differently! I'm already looking forward to the next visit, even if I don't have to choose a dish, I'd just like to try everything! Even for those who don't like the kitchen, there is a good selection of other options."

The staff is very friendly, there is a pleasant, quiet atmosphere and the food is simply top I recommend the lamb korma with rice and garlic naan bread!

Extremely friendly service. Tasteful ambience. We also enjoyed the food If there was spiced rice instead of plain basmati rice, I would have been even happier. Perhaps this is not common in North Indian cuisine.

Unfortunately, the price performance ratio did not convince us. The portions were quite small, so we had to order additional naan bread around €3.50) and rice €3.50) and even then it wasn't enough. In the pictures the portions appear significantly larger than they actually are on site.

Also am Anfang waren wir mit der Karte leicht überfordert, da wir mit dem Indischen Essen nicht soviel Erfahrung haben. Der Inhaber hat sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben um uns die Menü Varianten zu erklären. Das Essen war geschmacklich sehr gut. Service war auch gut. Wir werden auf alle Fälle wieder kommen um andere Gerichte zu probieren

The food in the restaurant today was simply outstanding! I had the Veg Thali, and it was a delicious selection of different dishes. The Shahi Paneer was particularly outstanding creamy, spicy and perfectly cooked. Using fresh ingredients made all the difference and I could taste the care and attention put into each dish. The ambience of the restaurant was also very pleasant and inviting. Overall a great experience that I would definitely recommend!

We were here recently for the first time and were very positively surprised. The food was good and tasteful. Before eating, the level of spiciness was queried and it was really spot on. The staff kept asking unobtrusively if everything was OK. Particularly noteworthy is the extremely friendly and courteous service. I have rarely seen restaurateurs who put as much effort into the well-being of their guests as they did here. I felt incredibly welcome and we will definitely come back again.
