"Very nice restaurant with great tasting curry. Unfortunately, I almost threw up while eating their Vegan Chicken ; it was horrible and I couldn 't eat it so I just dipped my Naan bread into the curry sauce. My partner and I were hoping for greater variety of vegetable-based curries instead of the fake vegan meat options. They also added a 12.5% service charge to their already expensive prices which did not sit well with us. I find it incredibly rude to force customers to have to request for this charge to be removed from the bill, it is a scheme designed to make customers feel bad and just go along with it. I regularly tip good service but I will tip the server directly, not the restaurant. We did not tip on this occasion as the service was incredibly slow."

"my favorite café in norwich! the personal is beautiful and welcoming and the coffee is excellent. I recommend the Arabic salate, and although I have not yet tried, the cakes look amazing. no more sticky chaincafés for me, sahara has me under his magic."

"I had my 40th birthday party there and I can't thank the staff enough. They were all so helpful even in the insane heat we had that day! Also the bar manager was so kind and helpful helping me pick cocktails out for my party and making a special Hello Kitty cocktail for me. I can't rate this place enough. "For the past couple of years, I have dropped into the Goulash House on my way home when I have wanted a good, fulfilling meal and relaxation. Sometimes, I would bring my own beer or wine, but now I am delighted they have a drinks licence and I am able to drink Hungarian wines, including Royal Tokaji dessert wine. It is very much a family-run restaurant and the walls are decorated with large photographs of Hungarian scenery.The meals of traditional Hungarian dishes and some Italian ones are really great. Amongst the desserts, my favourites are delightfully thin pancakes with apricot and cream or chestnut puree with cream. On occasion, I have taken overseas guests to dinner there and they have always enjoyed and now I look forward to taking them there to sample Hungarian wine and spirits with their meals. I am also looking forward to a cheese and wine evening. Now Soho's Gay Hussar restaurant has closed, I urge Londoners to sample Norwich's Hungarian restaurant."

"Our first visit to this coffee shop just off the city centre. Although it may look small from the outside there is more seating upstairs. The coffee was good and the cheese scones ran a close second to the best we have had in Norwich. We shared a slice of rich fruit cake which was full of fruit, moist and filling. They also offer a breakfast menu of croissant with sweet and savoury fillings, all day filled ciabatta and wraps, sausage rolls and a range of cakes. Will visit again."
