We spent a family evening at Gerardo's, everything is really good, his preparations are really delicious with lots of subtleties. The products are seasonal and typical. The wine list is very well sourced, typical of Southern Italy. Bravissimo Gerardo we will come back. For me it is my favorite restaurant in Paris. The dishes are very well prepared with incredible flavors. The chef is attentive, provides impeccable service and with a smile throughout the meal. He takes the time to passionately explain to you the origins of each of the ingredients that make up his dishes. An incredible culinary and human experience. A cook absolutely passionate about the products he sources himself from his acquaintances and family. A niche but splendid wine list, with references you won't find anywhere else. Special mention for the daily specials, of remarkable complexity for Italian cuisine without compromising its authenticity. The service is a little long because the chef is alone in the room (even more so if you have a large table) but it is worth the detour!
