"What a great venue in the village. They had a couple of faults but the food and the atmosphere more than made up for it. Instead of 3 stars, which I would have given for the reason below it saved it to 4. The food is very good and the menu is extensive and caters for vegetarians with a separate menu. On the downside they run out of bread and a certain beer, plus turning up 20mins before the reservation we were asked to leave and come back at the right time..... why not allow us to wait at the bar. So overall a good experience."

Was really looking forward to this new find in the Village, but alas it is impossible to get a booking for even a month in advance.

had a great time with my family for our golden wedding jubilee. the table was well prepared before booking. the wine list and the menu offered a great variety. the food presentation and quality of the food were excellent. while the prices were not cheap, the quality made everything worth the price. We had Afternoon tea and they did a fabulous job catering for our dietary requirements (gluten, dairy, vegetarian). We did call ahead, so I recommend doing the same, if needed. The alternative food was good but occasionally a bit dry. Apart from some longer waiting times, the overall experience was good with kind service.

eating was great and the portion sizes, they were slightly busy what I guess, but sitting places took a little, although the personal apologetic, service also took quite a few time to eat our drinks and eat in, but again no real complaining, just make them make sure they leave a lot of time when they go to eat, drink and enjoy. oh and cocktails were absolutely delicious Ver carta

Gorgeous restaurant, keeping in theme with all the other Ivy restaurants there is a beautiful botanical theme. The menu is extensive with lots of vegetarian and vegan options. The cocktails are amazing, I especially liked the Ivy special g&t. Service was fantastic and the atmosphere was great. I loved the shrimp tempura, zucchini fritters, chicken Milanese and thick cut fries.

a large restaurant delicate eating, good service, a little expensive. we wanted a brunch. every person ordered to share a drink and a side. the food was amazing and the service was great (the waitress came to check if everything was in order a few times and we never wait to leave).) the bill was at the expensive end as a cure with a drink came £ 28 per person. recommend for a good start!

"only at chez bruce ate, because our original choice to the jubilee dinner (thames river cruise) was cancelled at short notice after we had already booked our hotel: in wandsworth. instead of canceling the whole trip to london, I decided to try cb and see if they could fit us as they were only about 30 minutes away from our hotel. it was a Tuesday night when we were able to get in. I have bruce poole cookbook so was very excited to taste the restaurant and eating was really good. very similar to la trumpet in chiswick and I think they share. my starter of enoki mushroom salad with romaine, rump and comte was enormous. my cousin also thought her makrelenrillettes were first class. we have rejoined our head; I choose the hain that was outstanding again. my cousin complained that her pork was too much meat and not enough of something else. she was again on board with the dessert of white chocolate jerk and rusty ice cream. I had the cheeseboard that was good, but I had better. good wine list, with a little decent half bottle. However, the bottle was ordered by pomerol i was not available, but the sommelier hit an alternative, cheaper bottle that was very good. brot was very nice. service was okay, not great. there were some stretch before us to pour wein, to take plates that were both my cousin and I annoyed. but this little grip aside, I thought £200 without wein was pretty good."
