"eating in izumi is pretty good, but to be honest it is nowhere near the price they pay for it. we paid 700 chf for 3 with a bottle of wine and average amount of food. in view of the fact that a simple dish is 10 chf!!!! , they can imagine how much 1 prawn tempura is. as said, eating was good and service ok, but no longer, but there is no relation price vs. worth for money. we will not go back there."

Some great appetizers. Not so much the makis and the nigiris. For the prices they charge (20euro an average 1 piece of sushi), I would have expected better training of staff in explaining the dishes and in helping with the selection.

We were staying int he hotel during covid and this was one of the only places open to eat, by sheer chance or not, it was a delight to dine here!! Black Cod was delicious and the wine menu extensive with a rather knowledgeable sommelier....10/10

Great experience at Izumi, the food reminded me of my business trips in Japan. The portions are not that large so I recommend you to order several dishes. The service staff was friendly. Overall this place is really expensive but It was worth it.

Came here for best friend’s birthday dinner. All impeccable. Contrary to other comments, I enjoy very much the fusion touch on Japanese-based cuisine. Service amazing and all. If price isn’t an issue, this is the place. Make sure you drop by the rooftop with your drink before leaving, it overlooks the nice old town and eaux-vives
