Jacky's Im Glattpark

Das Lokal sieht von aussen eher klein und etwas eng aus. Sitzt man aber drin, so fühlt es sich anders an. Sehr sympathische Bedienung. Das Essen war sehr gut und auch preislich sehr in Ordnung. Ich werde wieder kommen.

Von aussen sieht das Restaurant nicht unbedingt spektakulär aus ABER nicht davon abhalten es auszuprobieren! Das Green Curry war wirklich fantastisch! Frisch gekocht mit knackigem frischem Gemüse! Grosse Portionen lassen niemanden hungern. Der Service wird vom sympathischem Chef übernommen, freundlich, present und gastfreundlich!! Komme wieder!!

Dieses von aussen unscheinbare Lokal hat es in sich. Selten so gut asiatisch gegessen. Frischeste Zutaten, alles à la minute gekocht, zu einem sehr guten Preis. Im Sommer sitzt man draussen und staunt über die grosszügige Architektur des Glattparks. Der Chef ist übrigens ein alter Fuchs in der Zürcher Gastronomie, der weiss, wie man ein Restaurant erfolgreich führt.

eating is okay, but as the owner makes big strata, so I don't know to trust when eating is really made home. the owner embodies that he is one of the great chefs from zürich (he even introduced himself as...guy), although he only bought the company structure that was previously used by this chef. weine are moderate, the atmosphere inside is ok, but not a place suitable for a date or a romantic dinner. Die Kellner sind jedes Mal besonders reizend und überaus verbindlich. Das macht mir bei jedem Besuch rundweg viel Freude.Die Dekoration auf den Plätzen und im ganzen Lokal ist anständig und geschmackvoll. Das Bad ist immerzu rein und allem in allem vermittelt das Restaurant einen schönen Eindruck.Die Getränkeauswahl fanden mein Mann und ich großartig!Ich war schon lange nicht mehr so fasziniert von einem Gasthaus.

Aufgrund der guten Bewertungen und angesichts wenigen geöffneten Restaurant waren wir im Jacky's im Glattpark.Mein Fleisch war zwar fantastisch und verdient locker 100 Sterne.Das meine Bewertung bei 2 Punkten liegt hat folgenden Grund.Mein Kollege und ich hatten das gleiche Fleisch jedoch in unterschiedlichen Grössen (Gewicht).Vom optischen her waren die Fleischstücke gleichgross. Ich hatte nicht das Gefühl dass die beiden Fleischstücke einem Preisunterschied von Fr. 32. entsprechen.Zudem empfand ich die Beilagen zwar geschmacklich 100 Punkte wert jedoch aufgrund der Presentation nicht ansprechend.Für den bezahlten Preis hätte ich es aufgrund der momentanen Zeitbesser erwartet.

Stayed at the Kameha Autograph Hotel and there are really very few options for dining in that neighborhood. Discovered Jacky’s our next to last night in Zurich. Jacky himself met us at the door and with his open kitchen concept, also did a lot of the cooking. Had a brat plate the first night and the “Green Jungle” the second and both were outstanding. Also saw the massive bone in rib-eye the four guys at the next table shared and it looked wonderful. Jacky shared with us that he once fixed that same steak for former US president Bill Clinton. I know from all my travels to Little Rock, AR that when Clinton was governor, he had a favorite steak place that served a very similar cut of meat. So... Ver carta
