Terrible decor and cleanliness. Dust everywhere and carpet sticky underfoot. Probably hadn’t been decorated for 30 years. Food was ok, not the best but ok. Staff were engaging.

After sitting down and the couple on the table making a fuss about their food being cold and leaving the restaurant we were a bit worried, but the staff handled the disgruntled customers well and I’m happy to say we had a fantastic meal! Good...fast service, friendly staff and tasty food made to your spice liking. Ver carta

The food was good and so was the service. The tandoori mixed grill was good but not amazing. The tandoori chicken was overcooked but the rest quite good. The curry (special) was nice and so was the fried rice. I liked the staff owners...and the service was good. Really cheap but for the price great. Very old fashioned inside and needs a good clean or some TLC but food is good and really good prices.

My husband has been coming here for 10 years due to working away in Stoke-on-Trent. He has been trying to get me here for years. We were in North Wales and decided to to a detour to Jaflong. Look past the decor as it does...need a refurbishment however I believe they have been unsure what is happening with the actual building for sometime now. The good and service was outstanding. The curry was amazing, really was the best I have had!

do not let them stand out from the less than flashing apperance. although, not the most extensive menu that eat and service are excellent. great value for money, probably one of the best curries we had in a long time. both traveled far into asia and...a fair baptism curry on the way chewed! naan brote were light, fluffy and fresh. excellent chips. biriyani was great as the specialkorai. can not recommend enough and we will definitely be back! choose this restaurant whenever we visit stoke. it's great. the staff are always so friendly and friendly and very important not to float while they eat their meal. eating is very tasty and the portions are not too big, but not too...small, just right the breads are beautiful. the caught beer is cobra, but there are others from which you can choose. the place was nicely refurbished. we have never waited too long for our meal, and that wait for the order is exactly right. By the way, it is located next to a well-known real ale pub!

Can’t understand how some have written a good review for this. The restaurant is very outdated and worn. Dirty sticky carpets and dark woodwork, tablecloths old and stained/ filthy. Only went there once, never again. I did wonder if they had ever had a hygiene...inspection due to the inside being so dirty. Terrible place. The food wasn’t good value. Myself and partner ordered chicken curries, and we both got 7 small cubes of chicken, I presume the chicken had been frozen and cut into cubes. The prices were much higher than I had expected given the standard of the decor inside and out as well as the old cutlery, seating etc. This place needs gutting, a good clean out and starting again. I cannot explain how dirty it was on arrival, you have to go through 2 doors to get in and once your in for some reason the inside looked like the outside! Dirt and leaves all over the floor welcome you on your arrival as...well as an old dirty fish tank with its lights off no bubbles and I can only assume the fish killed themselves to end their misery. -about 30 empty dirty glasses all over the bar whilst the guy makes new drinks amongst the old dirty ones, there is a giant Micky mouse toy covered in dust on top of a fridge for some reason? They do not display there food hygiene rating on the door as they should and when we checked it was a 2!! No thanks I like to eat my food without having... Ver carta
