Japanese Sun - Carta

Visited Japanese Sun for the first time on Saturday lunchtime. Fantastic sushi, clearly all freshly made to order and beautiful presentation. Will definitely be going back :

After more than a year, we came back to try this place again.... This time, we were not disappointed. The sashimi tasted very fresh and deliciously melts in your mouth The food is great. Would I come back again?.... definitely YES!

If you like Japanese food, you'll love this. If you're not sure about Japanese food, this will convince you. Small, intimate, friendly, informal. Lots of choice, yet easy to understand menu. Tasty dishes and lots of sharing platters of mixed items. Saki and Japanese beer too. Thoroughly recommended! Ver carta

Finally sushi is making its way west! Delicious sushi, flavoursome with plenty of choice! We had a sharing platter, which offered a great variation of dishes. If you’re one of those people that say “oh I don’t like raw fish” you’re an idiot, go out and try it. There’s loads more on offer than raw fish!

Stayed in carmarthen for a business trip. Found this place by our hotel so decided to give it a to give it a go. We were not disappointed. The sushi was excellent. I had the bento box for a main which again was too notch. The only negative was the loud electronic music but that alone wouldn't stop me returning.

We had a meal here just after it opened and it was very good, we retired tonight for a takeaway, I haven been impressed on both visits. Fresh sushi, nicely presented and very tasty, will recommend to friends and colleagues. Tempura prawns were lovely and the sushi platters offered a good selection! We will be visiting again soon! We ordered a Futari Yo set and unagi nigiri as a takeaway recently to enjoy on our wedding anniversary and enjoyed every single piece. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. We visited back in February for a sit down meal too and we're equally delighted with the food and friendly service. The tempura sushi is especially delicious and inventive. Thank you so much we'll be back!

Me and my partner came here for a sushi date and was not disappointed! I couldn't decide which starter but my partner wanted two so we asked for the Gyoza's and the miso soup with an extra spoon so we can share. They came out with two small bowls and split the soup so we can both enjoy and they even cooked up an extra Gyoza because it originally came as a 3 but they made 4 just for us! So kind! The sushi was heaven, we ordered the Rainbow uramaki which was so beautiful and so delicious, my favourite and the california tempura which was my partners favourite. Absolutely amazing experience with excellent food! Highly recommend!

Arrived at Japanese sun, all tables were full so glad we booked in advance. Ordered the wasabi margarita could only taste the copious amounts tequila... Looked amazing but taste was disgusting and not balanced. We were then approached for our food order: we asked for a recommendation on Sushi, we were told the deep fried tempura prawns were good (fyi not sushi and\or sashimi) we ordered the 16pc Nigiri and the eel unagi sashimi to start... 40 mins later we received the eel with an apology and some additional sushi (the free sushi was the best part of the whole meal) the eel was cooked?!
