"Stopped off in Issoire on the way South. We ventured into the old town to look around the abbey (cloaked in scaffolding and being renovated) and the clock tower (smaller than I imagined). Found Phil’s Fromagerie and found a warm welcome, a great selection of cheese, charcuterie and wine/beer to accompany. After discussing our likes/dislikes Phil brought out a fantastic high tea of cheese, bread, meat and fruit and a local ‘fruity’ IPA which hit the spot as we tucked in watching the world go by on his pavement seating area. Search it out if like me you are partial to the odd ‘morsel of cheese’!"

"pleasant reception, pleasant setting. menus with very good value for money-quantity. It's good, pretty well presented, with desserts not too loaded in sugar so great. I went out shaved, which is not the case of all semi-gastro so a very good point. I took the menu at 50 euros (elected in 3 dishes I think of memory.) map of the not terrible beers, a little sumptuous but not too bad wine map. wines offered with interesting glass. if I have to make a constructive critique for the cook: the dishes were generally rather well presented and good, but would have deserved (and that on all, whether it was in, meat and garnish in particular) a small peps (by a automaton, a grass, a little acidity or something else) because they could feel like a little heavy or fat (the tatin of mushrooms or veal rice, however good, for example."

"We made the discovery of this restaurant at the hijack of an invitation to a gift. the decoration of this restaurant is contemporary, modern and clean. the kitchen is open to the room and the terrace overlooking the elbow pavin. the service is attentive and discreet, a small mention for the sommelier who is good advice, very professional. We chose the menu at 50 euros. no false note, cooking is just (fatty fun.) you feel the sensitivity of the chef's cuisine through its herbaceous, acidulated and fresh notes. It was a great culinary experience for us. we will renew the experience! ps: it is quite rare to be emphasized, they have shown a commercial spirit by offering drinks."

"a restaurant that doesn't pay a mine when you drive on the boulevard, but still. this terrace with some old school chairs draws our eye and encourages us to return. The very vintage industrial decor is warm and pleasant, we feel that we will have a good time and that is the case. The welcome is on top! and what to say of the map and served dishes. a fine and pleasant cuisine, flavors that explode in your mouth, in short everything is gathered for an excellent tasting, without pretensions, but still above the lot."
