Jk's Chinese Takeaway

Very enjoyable and tasty food (especially the quite delicious chips). I go to this place quite a lot and have never been let down by the food/service.

My partner and I ordered two different noodle dishes, but they were both extremely salty. Unfortunately, we couldn't eat them and ended up throwing them away.

Crispy Duck…was neither crispy or duck. Was meatless and the fat wasn’t crispy at all. Ordered half a crispy duck and it was equivalent to a quarter. Not worth £20.

The chinese came to £31 which I didnt think was bad for four of us however got home and a couple of items were missing... disappointing. Food when opened was then very poor, would certainly not recommend. I hate giving bad reviews but that was awful.

Spent 14 pound on 2 special fried rices, and prawn crackers,for me and my 9 years old son ,and was the most disappointing, rip of meal I have had, mostly just rice and peas , hardly any taste,very bland ,and very little meat, if I lived a bit nearer, I would have took it back, very poor avoid the place !!

Ignore bad reviews. These people clearly gave no tastebuds. Thank you JK for your consistently delicious fresh food. No it's not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. The mock duck/chicken choices are vast and they dont skimp at all on the portions. It's our Friday treat we look forward to every time. Great friendly service too.

This was my 1st visit and I have to say the quality, quantity overall value of the food was really good. With such a wide choice of dishes available I can only comment on this visit but I shall certainly be back, I hope the next selection will be just as good. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a Chinese takeaway in the Hebden Bridge area.

I have never tried food from this restaurant before and I will not be doing so again. The staff member who took my order was not friendly or welcoming. The food tasted old and stale, with most of it barely warm despite living only a few minutes' walk away and eating it immediately. The prices were quite high as well. I would suggest trying Him Man instead of this restaurant.

I had to write a review after seeing the recent bad one. I am lucky enough to live here in Hebden Bridge, and JK's is my favorite local takeaway. JK's offers the largest selection of vegetarian Chinese dishes I have ever seen, and everything is absolutely delicious. I am a big fan of the tofu in black bean sauce, the mock duck pancakes, and the mock duck with teriyaki sauce dish. Just thinking about them in this review is making me crave a takeaway tonight! I also have to mention that the staff working there are the friendliest people you could meet; everyone is cheerful and polite. Overall, I would give JK's a 10 out of 10.
