"A huge part of me doesn’t want to write this as it may encourage others to seek out a wonderful pub hidden in the beautiful village of Hampsthwaite. The food is amazing (hats off to the chef) whether it be the normal menu or the Sunday carvery the food is fresh, home cooked and tastes fantastic. It would be remiss of me not to mention that the staff are almost as good as the food, super service, attentive enough with overdoing it and odd a chorus or two from Chris the singing waiter makes this my favourite pick to eat when we’re up in Harrogate"

Popped in to dodge a heavy rain shower while out walking. Lovely country pub. Good range of beers. We didn’t eat at the pub, but meals were being served. Attentive staff. Made to feel very welcome.

We had a great time at the Joiners Arms Quiz Night on Sunday evening. The Quiz master was fantastic, and the Timothy Taylor's Boltmaker and Landlord were deliciously kept. I would give it 5 stars for a lovely and entertaining evening. Ver carta

I absolutely loved this charming pub! My group went for Sunday lunch and we all agreed it was exceptional. The portions were generous and well prepared. The desserts were also homemade and delicious. I highly recommend this spot as a great place to enjoy a meal with family and friends.

What a great pub, lovely professional service, friendly welcome (including my dog) and the food was amazing. We rang to book a table, when we arrived the pub wasn’t packed so it had a relaxed and peaceful feeling to it. There was a good selection of home made food which was delicious. We had pie, fish and chips and the Moroccan lamb burger. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. The prices were good too. I just wished I lived closer so that I could pop regularly!

We dined at The Joiners Arms for the first time tonight, and it certainly won't be our last. Our initial impression was that the restaurant was clean, cozy, and welcoming. The server was very accommodating, allowing us time to peruse the menu and was available when we were ready to place our order. For starters, we had Squid, followed by Sea Bass and Hake for our mains. All of the fish was cooked perfectly, and it was evident that the chef had taken great care in the presentation of our dishes. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

"all those people who leave 1 star (or low star reviews) have either extremely high expectations or just have to be out to harm the call of a gem of a sandwich shop. I stopped yesterday, was late for lunch to my surprise and joy that they were still open, was a waiting queue to eat, so I might have been happy that they thought they would do 1 more order. I had the cheese-cutney sandwich couldn't resist the Scotch egg with black pudding. the Scotch egg was phenomenal, black pudding mixed with the sausage meat, a soft egg yolk practically still runny, which I really did not expect to add only to the already large aromene, the egg comes with a small pot homemade brown sauce (ketchup is an option, but I prefer brown soße) also the soße is a normal but it is a manifestation, it is a the sandwich was ineffective, thick-cut cheese on a homemade roll with homemade chutney (I suppose when everything else was made home) filled with fresh salad, I am curious what the difference between this is the ploughman’s, as it was in the round a ploughmans sandwich. the brot, cheese salad were all fresh taste amazing, the chutney transformed it, was like a cross between chutney salsa like the brown sauce was more sweet without much flavor, but really a great amount taste to what was possibly the best sandwich I had ever had! well made youngs, eating is great a try worth. reasonably also consider that it is the center of harrogate."
