"Ordered a collection and they gave me an incorrect dish. Called them and the lady was very rude and said I need to bring it back for the correct one. We live 10 mins away so said I wouldn’t return it as we £80 on the table ready to eat. She was insistent that I retire as maybe the phone line broke up and she’s been so busy it’s just a mistake. No apologies at all. Such poor service. I asked if I could have a credit for next time, well that depends on the manager. Really! Next review will be when/if I get my dish in the future."

What has happened to what was The Best Chinese in the area ? The waiting time was double what we were quoted and the woman on the desk was so rude to everybody I shall be going elsewhere .

Best Chinese in Halstead. Their BBQ spare ribs are very good, meaty and sauce is great. Curry sauce and chow mein good also. Only thing is sometimes, chips do change to flat ones, which are not the nicest.
