"My family (husband, 2 children, and I) decided to try BBQ Connection based on reviews through Trip Advisor, so I am paying it forward by leaving my own review. We stopped in last night (Saturday) around 1730. The location is not hard to find, but is definitely in an area that was not expected (industrial area). There is parking in front, and we poked our heads inside to see if there was enough seating. After seeing another party inside, and a couple of 3-top tables, we decided to sit outside on the picnic tables because the weather was perfect. We weren't sure if we were doing it right, as there was a little bit of a wait, but no matter-like I said, the weather was great, and we were wearing our, "patience pants". After about 20 minutes, my husband did go inside and order a couple of beers, which were delivered to our table quickly. A gentleman came out and took our orders; we had decided what we wanted from the menu posted by the entrance. Our children wanted the kids' ribs and macaroni and cheese, which came with Capri Suns to drink. My husband and I ordered one order of the hushpuppies (as those seemed to be popular on the reviews) as an appetizer, and the "Big Sampler" to share. Unfortunately, they were out of the brisket, so we decided to substitute the smoked sausage instead. The children's drinks came out quickly, and the hushpuppies came out soon after. They were hot, but delicious, and have diced onion and bell pepper inside. We all loved them!! When our dinners were delivered, we were pleased with the portions. The "Big Sampler" came with a full rack of ribs, pulled pork, and 2 large sausage links, with two sides (we chose potato salad and baked beans). It was definitely enough for two eaty-eatersons to share :-) The bark on the ribs was good, but we needed more sauce (which we asked for). The pulled pork was good, and the sausage was great! I appreciated that the potato salad was not sweet, a faux pas in my Texan mind, and was not gloppy. It was well-seasoned, as were the beans, which I was glad were NOT canned and doctored with spices to seem homemade. They used fresh beans, as there was still a little "bite" to them, similar to al dente pasta, which I liked. Husband was pleased, and so were the kiddos! I tried my son's macaroni and cheese, and it was on-point!Both children, my husband and I, ate for 30euros, which was not bad! We will be back, and will definitely ask for more bbq sauce next time!!"
