Great restaurant tucked away under the train station. Christmas menu was 2 courses for £16.99, had pepper chicken which was delicious and the vegetable were cooked to perfection! Dessert was a chocolate orange brownie

The restaurant offers great service with friendly staff, delicious food, and reasonable prices. The only downside was that it was a bit chilly at 4:00 PM, but I'm sure it warms up as the evening goes on and more people arrive. Ver carta

Been a while since we visited and again it was very good. There were clean plates all round and I can recommend the baked cheesecake. Apart from a bit of a wait to get a drink the staff were good. Can recommend the place and will be back soon.

We had a fantastic meal for 16. The staff (particularly a waitress and bar staff who served us) we really helpful and friendly. Good was great and it was a lovely restaurant. Everyone in our group thought it was great and we hope to be back again next year

This place is a fabulous wee gem. Service was great nice atmosphere. The food was lush !!! Got our table enjoyed a cocktail and a nice gin. Ordered 6 tapas and three sides wow food was fresh and delicious the bill was great too for what we got. Would definitely recommend and will be back. Thank you Ver carta

Food and Service Amazing, went on Sunday with my friend. Booked a table via their website, put in your details and they text you to book you in. We both had starters, i had haggis Bon bons and my friend has mozzarella sticks and both really tasty. For main we had Cajun chicken pasta and i had steak pie with mash, with veg and the veg was sooooo tasty, so much so that i asked for an extra side portion of vegetables. Presentation lovely and so so tasty. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back soon.

Not impressed with our experience today. If the table is only available for 2 hours then the customer should be informed when taking the booking. But the main problem is poor service! If you want to have the table back in 2hours then service and organisation has to improve. Delays in taking orders, serving courses slowly, taking too long to serve drinks is not the fault of the customer. We were forced into leaving behind drinks that we had paid for. We were rushed out by staff, pity we they hadn't rushed to serve us at the start. Very disappointed and won't return. There are much warmer, more welcoming restaurants with efficient service to eat in.

I made a reservation at this restaurant based on good reviews for a friend's lunch. However, upon arriving, we found the interior to be freezing cold. It took a long time to get a drink, and then another 20 minutes before they took our food order. The staff seemed unfriendly and uninterested, the atmosphere was lackluster, and it wasn't very busy for a Saturday late afternoon. Despite this, the food was decent, though not exceptional. We had to ask for our plates to be cleared and had to eventually go up to the bar to pay after asking for the bill. Overall, we were not impressed with our experience and do not plan on returning.
