"the service is fast and unobtrusive - but I was there at 17:00 when few guests were there. above all, many asiates probably visit the came yi, which certainly speaks for the local. the main dish was served when the appetizer was not yet consumed. the humprabb soup is well tasted - delicious. The in criminal wound bark that is wrapped with glass noodles and various Asian crumbles and salat wrapped in rice paper has been my favorite for years - this Vietnamese dish I have not found any other asiate in a mouth. the local is not overly Asian decorated. Unfortunately, hardly any daylight falls into the rooms, which makes the restaurant very dark."

we have bought food to take away in this restaurant. the dish we bought was nice, because we are Chinese, we find that the food is quite good and the portions are large.

we've eaten a lot at this place. about every time we come to Munich (2-3 times a year) we'll look past there. the place was originally recommended by chinese. the place is visited by many Asian guests. the menu includes what you normally expect from a chinese. the feeds we tried were of the best quality without exception.

I was late there after having arrived with my two children and my husband in the city. I order the roasted rice from yangzhou, chicken vegetables and roasted noodles. all were good with good portions. above all it was fast. that was eating out within minutes and we were back in an hour at our hotel. had enough for rest the next day. would definitely come back. a good try for authentic Chinese food. we have found that the restaurant has replaced many not normally used Chinese ingredients for its menu item. although we enjoyed eating as we were hungry, this restaurant should not be considered as what a Chinese restaurant should be. the restaurant was very full when we were there and the service was really hard to get and the table next to us went without order.

we live in Great Britain and my man and I attend to have at least once a year and have discovered this wonderful restaurant. my man is not a big fan of Chinese food, but now we come here every time (it is the best he ever eaten, he says - and when he says it must be good). delicious food, a huge selection, helpful, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. we are happy and relaxed. we can't wait to go back there.

eating is quite normal Chinese in Europe, in this special case something above average. all my dishes were prepared with much too much oil. During my visit I noticed quite a lot of native Asian guests - usually a good sign for a restaurant, so maybe I just picked out the wrong dishes - in my case with sweet and fried rice. the service was in order and polite - I will probably try the restaurant at my next visit a second time. as we needed a change to the heavy meat dishes, knödeln, brezeln and sourkraut, we decided to the Chinese restaurant kam yi, which is located directly opposite our hilton munich city hotel. although we thought to make a tasting of their dim sum offers, we decided instead to order dishes won ton (wan tan on their menu) suppe with garnelen, har gow garnelenknödel and water spinat (sumpfkohl) with garlic as a sweetheart. the service was attentive and friendly and the prices good. we were very satisfied with our eating and found that came yi served very acceptable cantonese eating.

we were in a mixed group of hard carnivores and some real vegetarians. have already eaten here because it is almost next to the holiday inn city center and we go there every two years for a conference. This time the place was the same, if not even better. the host smiles, is helpful, does not speak much, but they have a great menu! they have many vegetarian things. the portions are also great. the service is friendly. they like to knock them with beautiful cold water and it is not expensive at all. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to be living after days of the Bavarian cuisine (which is excellent, but without heat:)).

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
